Hey guy`s, you should visit Florianópolis before you go home. It`s number one state capital in terms of life quality and social development in Brazil It`s a beautifull and magical island in south Brazil, in the state of Santa Catarina (Saint Catherine). There`s 42 beaches - true - amazing nightlife and climate. It`s like a mini Rio with less violence. I think you guy`s went to Laguna to see the dolphins. Florianópolis is the capital of Santa Catarina. You definetely should visit Florianópolis (Also known as Floripa = say - flowreepa)!!!
Actually, only 10% or less of Niagara Fall is in Brazil. The Iguazu River is from Brazil, but almost all the Falls are in Argentine territory. Just one Jump (if i remember correctly) is in Brazilian territory. So "Brazil Iguazy Falls" are really small, and the "Argentinean Iguazy Falls" are the majestic fall, including Devils. For a long time the best Hotel were on Brazilean territory, so a lot of people stay in Brazil and cross to Argentina to visit Niagara Falls, but for several years now there are also great hotels in the Argentine part. So, when you se Niagara Falls, most surely, you are seeing Argentina´s Fall, not Brazil.
Sebastian Greco THE IGUAÇU FALLS BELONG TO BRAZIL WHY THE PARANÁ RIVER IS BORN FROM BRAZIL AND NOT ARGENTINA, PASSING PART BY ARGENTINA, NOT FROM ARGENTINA IS, IN TRUTH BELONG TO PARAGUAY, ARGENTINA TAKING THIS TERRITORY IN THE WAR OF PARAGUAY IN 1864.
The falls have an Argentinian side and a Brazilian side, they do not belong to just one country. I visit them last year and I confirmed it, it was written in almost every sign. From Wikipedia: The Iguazu Falls are arranged in a way that resembles a reversed letter "J". The border between Brazil and Argentina runs through the Devil's Throat. On the right bank is the Brazilian territory, which has just over 20% of the jumps of these falls, and the left side jumps are Argentine, which make up almost 80% of the falls.
To see ALL falls (including the Brazilians), is necessary to come to Brazil, Argentinian friend. So, do not talk fool things. By the way, the foreign tourist come to South America to visit Brazil. Places like Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Fortaleza, Brasilia, or make business in São Paulo. Argentina ? Lot of them think Buenos Aires is the capital of Brazil, so... Move to Brazil and be happy. Bye.
Sebastian Greco, the tourists go to Iguaçú Falls to see the falls. So, the point is : The Devils and others falls, are seen from the Brazilian side or from the rivers. I mean... If you Argentinians don't drink all the water of the river, no problem for us Brazilians or for the visitors.
