The Happy Goodmans, the Gaithers, and all of the Gaither Family bring me such happiness and joy in these end days just before that glorious trumpet sounds... there are many gifts given for the many different ways we can worship our sweet Lord and Savior and I am praying that He will gift me with such a voice as these for my worship in Heaven. To sing for Him like this for eternity would be a dream come true. Looking forward to that "Meeting in the Air"!!!

At one time the Goodmans lived in Wingo Ky. They went to the Water Valley Pentecostal Church. My Daddy worked their car some. I went to South Fulton School with some their Kin Folk. One thing I know Dr.Johnny Minick is a great minister of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Still sings and plays keyboard
.. there was a story that Ms Vestal was either departing or arriving at the Nashville airport and came upon a young lady who was upset about something. Vestal stopped and spoke to her. Then, right in the middle of the hustling crowd of travels and visitors, she prayed with her. That was the Goodmans.. true people of God. A true conviction and faith in their message of Christ and salvation that was brought through to their music and mystery that unfortunately some of the gospel singers of today don't have.
How could any rational person give this video a thumbs down. If you don't like this type of music just move on. Having said that Bill Neither got it right Howard and Vestal never took their eyes off the prize.
When I was 12 years old I got. go with my parents to Happy Goodman concert and got to meet Vestal and Howard after talking to them I. was on my way to finding Jesus Christ and now I am a Christan. because they witnessed to me. All I can say is that they took time to talk to me about Jesus Christ and I miss their music but that's ok because they are singing with the 👼 and for God .God Bless Their Families

how I loved the happy Goodman family. my grandmother's favorite song is my brand new home by the happy Goodman's. no group except the Rambos have inspired me as much as the goodmans. rest in peace Vestal, Howard, Sam, and Rusty. You are all missed.

I'm so very jealous! I did get to a concert once but I have to wait until I get home before meeting them!

Awesome singers who along with Jessie, George, JD, and Anthony Burger are in Heavens choir. They are greatly missed but their music lives on.

I saw The Happy Goodman in 1979 in Oakland, Calif. with Steve Sanders. I don't know what happened to Steve? He was a great singer and very young.
