those rumors have floated around in our family for as long as I remember, you can find books mentioning the Enlows and the Lincolns, until there is a DNA test done everything is just rumors. I would like to see a DNA test to prove or disprove those rumors once and for all!
@@eenlow4655 apparently those at the Bostic center haven’t pushed the DNA deal very hard, would be great to meet with local Reps/Congress/Senator to see what they may be able to do
@@Treasuremonk I wouldn`t hold my breath they and others have been pushing for a DNA test for many years. I understand there is a lock of Abe`s hair in a brush at the Smithsonian....I don`t think they want to re-write history...what other reason would they have for refusal with funds being offered to cover the expense of such a test? Glad you guys got to detect that property had to be much fun!

Abraham Grandmother was Black. -- That is why they mention indentured servant and learned to read and write. Not sure why that history is not told.
