People say that wheein is the English representative. But nowadays Moonbyul has been learning English and she is getting better at it. But the one that knows the least English is Hwasa. But it’s cute and sweet that they try to learn for international fans since they know that they are known internationally.

Update:
Wheein's got the best pronunciation, but Solar and Moonbyul are the ones who are trying to learn the language, and as the others have said, it's Moonbyul who's the one activily doing so because of her doing online fanmeets _(and Solar's doing her first musical rn so I doubt she practices as much as she did back in 2020)._ Hwasa knows English the least but she might learn more by surrounding herself with english-speaking friends like Jessi.

I think solar did know the most at the time of the video and she's the one who speaks when they go abroad, but recently moonbyul has also been taking english lessons to communicate with fans in online calls :)
people often think hwasa used to live abroad for some reason and can speak english but the truth is she can't even read it well lol!

This is my take on MAMAMOO and English.
Solar: Leader, so she was in charge of speaking and be confident about it, so she was usually the spokesperson when speaking English. Even if she wasn't very confident in speaking in complete sentences, she tends to be able to make people understand what she is saying using short words and phrases.
Wheein: best articulation. She has the best conversational pronunciation and is able to phrase them into complete sentences.
Hwasa: the babiest with regards to English. The most English words she knows are probably the names of the different countries' capitals (she mentioned that she likes to memorise the names of the different capitals because it helps her fall asleep..)
Finally Moonbyul: I feel that she is the one with the best English word/vocabulary bank, mainly because she writes almost all her raps, and her raps really has the depth and capability to tell stories. So, she would read a lot as well as search for many English words to help her express what she wants to say in her raps.
Also, she takes part in writing her raps in the Japanese songs as well, so I'm pretty sure she has some Japanese in her arsenal too. :)
p.s. I heard that Solar had briefly lived in Philippines to study English when she was 12 for about 2 months. :)

I think Solar’s english is more from her education (she knows how to read and pronounce english words but doesn’t understand perfectly from around 2016 as seen in WGM) while the others more likely mimic the sound they hear but wouldn’t be able to properly read or comprehend in writing. But Moonbyul has been studying so maybe she got a lot better. Wheein can definitely pronounce better and probably has a wider vocabulary. Hwasa is just Hwasa, she doesn’t need English, people will adjust for her 😘
I still think Solar is best in English. Just needs more comprehension and she’s good to go. You can watch her Yonglish series from her channel Solarsido where she tries to learn conversational english
