I always look at supplies at Dollar Tree but don't always buy. I got my first ever Happy Planner sticker book there a few years back! I haven't had good luck with the rub on transfers. I bought those same alphabet/number stamps and I've only used a couple of the alphabet fonts and the numbers but I really like them. I saw some metallic brush pens I've been wanting to try out but I have so many pens I've been resisting. Squaird Plans showed how to make your own planner dividers with the Dollar Tree cutting mats so I've enjoyed doing that. I love the comparisons and especially how you used the double-sided tape! I'm forever running out of my glue runner refills and that's a great substitute! I'd love to see the 5 Below haul and maybe a Pop Shelf haul if you have one around!
Great variety of stationery. I have and love the zebra sarasas and the paper packs. I have also used the sticky note sets in my planner.

I love the double sided jot tape. I use it for gift wrapping, scrapbooking, etc. I also use the correction tape on a regular basis. This was a fun video. Thank you Mary Ellen.

For the stencil sheet, I'd use some Pixie Spray or Aleene's Tack It Over and Over on the back of it. Instant self-stick stencil. Would be great for ink sprays or foam ink blenders. For cheap markers, yoou would do better to get the store brand from Michael's and use a coupon. Walmart also has some lovely cheap brush/fint tip double ended markers.
I saw on another TH-cam video that the packages of 6x6 paper had the front sheet transposed. If you go back and buy the package with cover sheet to match your paper, the paper will match cover sheet you have.
Didn't see any other posts, but fyi, others have shared the paper pack with the wrong paper inside - somehow the wrong packaging came with the wrong paper. The brighter spring colors are in the packaging for the darker papers! Lol
I use the white out brand correction tape. Walmart sells it.

For the paper pack you got where the cover was bright colors and the paper was dark. I watched a video and it seems they were all packaged wrong. To get the bright paper you have to buy the paper pack with the dark cover. I have yet to find the paper packs at my dollar trees

I watched another lady who got the paper packs and they put the wrong sample pages in the wrong ones. I don't think any of hers had the right sample page, but they all had a package they matched. Oops

I just found a lot of stationary at Dollar General. I was just wasting time there until a prescription was filled and walked out with large & small paperbooks, fine liners, brush pins, and new scissors. I was thoroughly surprised and the pen quality is actually really nice. I love my Archer&Olive pens but $1 for the primary colors is a nice alternative.
I bought a cute and silly 80's Pets sticker book from Dollar Tree. I thought it was a good find for $1.25.
It has a giraffe wearing glasses, sticking it's tongue out and a chimpanzee with glasses blowing a bubble, rubik's cubes and VHS tapes, etc. It also has words like "tubular" and "no duh". Taking me right back 😂😂

my favorite planner items to get at Dollar Tree are the stickers in the holiday section... you need to get them early! however, they are always great quality and adorable! the Valentine's day stickers this year were super cute!
hey Mary-Ellen, thanks for this video! Even though there is no Dollar Tree in our country, there are comparable stores where I have already found some things for my planner. I think it's good when you show us that you don't need the brand for all supplies to design your planner. I wanted to add a video idea; I would be interested to see how you integrate a Dutch door into your planner. or other gimmicks, with a double page from the Happy Planner.
I am watchful of Dollar Tree product, but I did find that when the school supplies come out their black gel pens are remarkable. They come in a 10 pack for 1.25 and I have used them in Zentangles and have not been disappointed.
I saw another lady review those paper packs, the dark moody package contained the cheery sunflower set and vise versa, they mixed it up. Surprise!
I can go into Dollar Tree and leave after spending $120... Lol. My husband doesn't get how someone can spend THAT much at a dollar store... but for me it's SO easy! Lol...I've been doing DT shopping for quite a while (a few years) and different locations have different items. Your location looks like you have a lot of choices! There are about 5 locations near me so I can always find something. Lol...

I also do not like that correction tape but often the Dollar Tree has Bic correction tape as well and I stock up on those when they have them
I love your channel, and bumble and you. But the items from the dollar store may be low priced, but the cost to the employees is very high. John Oliver has a really good video outlining the exploitation in the dollar store industry.
I always get my double sided tape from here! I also love the sticker packs and the Jot composition books.
I'm a big dollar tree girliee! Definitely tip is always check before you buy! (Referring to the paper pack) sadly I've seen them with the incorrect cover idk if it was a manufacturing thing or people? But I always check first to make sure im getting what I want!
Alsoooo you're at the tape part now, Definitely recommend there double sided peel tape from crafter square!! Soo good! Has come in handy for my several times too when my tape roller ran out

I’m a big time Dollar Tree shopper so I have a ton of their stickers and paper packs and pens etc and I’m always looking for ways to get inspired by ways to use it all in my Classic sized vertical & dashboard HP as well as my mini horizontal Happy Planner planner
I pick up some things in the Dollar Tree every once in a while. I find a lot of the rub off transfers in many different patterns, I like them and use them a lot. The dollar store often has a nice selection of these.
Dollar Tree also has BIC correction tape, and it's made in Japan. Sometimes they're out of stock, so when I see it I grab two or three.
October is Breast cancer awareness month
I bought those small clear letter stamps too, and they fell off my clear block repeatedly, no matter what I did. I finally just had to trash them. I do use the correction tape, but I hold it differently than you were holding it, so it’s not uncomfortable to me. But I’ve used them a lot, so maybe I’m just used to them by now. LOL
They’ve had this functional stickers forever and they stain happy planner paper on the other page 😢
This was fun to see. I have bought stickers and pens. I am hoping mine has that pen with the two lines! Fun! I like the videos you have done about saving money! I am in the mode too so it helps. Sometimes my planner is the only creative outlet I have for the week. So I enjoy being artsy and such. But not the prices of the stickers and pages. So looking for fun and free or at least less expensive! You have done fabulous stuff!
I buy the Optimus pens at my Dollar Tree. I love them! I also buy the INC .7 gel pen in black. It writes beautifully and feels nice in my hand. I went back and got a couple more. I also got the INC Micro Tip Brush Pens. Haven't used them yet though. I don't get stickers when I can find nice ones and I did find a little mini disc notebook. It's a Happy Planner knock-off, but I got because I thought it was so cute! Nice size for a purse. I have 3 Dollar Tree stores within a short driving distance and they each have different items. Unfortunately, the best one seems to be the furthest from me! Loved the video. I'll look and see if my stores have any of the products you bought.

I watched a lot of other Dollar tree hauls and those 6x6 paper packs seem to sometimes get the wrong cover on them. One person I watched bought two different packs and the cover of the first pack actually matched the second paper pack and vice versa 😅 So it unfortunately seems to be a gamble with those paper packs 😖

I just checked my crafting paper packs and the one that was wrong for you is actually mixed up. I have the original packaging of the dark one and the original packaging of the light one. THEY ARE BOTH MIXED UP‼😱😂

I go Dollar Tree regularly for all kinds of things, including art and planning supplies, stationary, and quite a bit of things. I've bought some of the same things you bought.
That paper pack that doesn’t match what’s supposed to be in there happened with every pack I bought! It’s a mistake! Grrr…. Weird I know!
I LOVE the Sarasa pens and have every color! I love to color the fine line adult coloring books DT sells. These were the finest tiniest tips and work beautifully
Cool Haul !!! I’m currently struggling & having a DT a few blocks away where I can get a few planner supplies helps a little (not the ideal spot for quality pens or markers , they do tend to dry out the majority of the time but it will have to do for now). I’ve tried the correction tapes & I must say, you’re right on. Don’t like them at all & the tape usually breaks on me all the time; don’t know why but it does. Very uncomfortable to use as well as you pointed out. But for now, these will have to do. Have also tried their Promarx Gel Roller Pens for a while & they’re okay but they don’t last that long plus they always pull apart…don’t ask me why but they do. 😂😂😂
Dollar Tree has lots of hidden gems. Next time I go, I'll be looking for some of these items. Yes, more dollar tree videos.
Stopped my Dollar Tree today after watching your video last night… I was shocked to find most of what you did(we never have anything). I didn’t get all you did, but only spent $18.75 😁
I saw another channel do a similar DT video and they bought 2 6x6 paper packs and both were mislabeled as well. Luckily she bought 2 and they were just switched so she still got what she thought she was getting, just labeled backwards.
You're the second YT I've seen with this problem on the pattern paper packs. The other person got the pack you did and another package. They packages had the labels swapped. Also the colors were much fuller than the label.

Their planners come out at the end of summer along with yearly calendars. I've been buying them for the last 10 years. Look around end of July and early August.
I appreciate you doing this video. I frequent DT due to my work. Some of the pens you bought I use all the time. But as you have mentioned. It’s a destination when you are restricted to how much you can spend.
Do the Zebra Sarasa pens bleed or shadow on Happy Planner paper? I have a couple I bought in August from Dollar Tree that I’ve been too nervous to try.
If you get the 6x6 paper pack that has the dark papers shown you'll get the paper that should have been in the pack you got. That fronts must have gotten switched in packaging.
That particular 6 x 6 paper pack was accidentally packaged incorrectly at the dollar tree factory ..so if you find the version with the dark & moody cover page it will contain the papers that match the cover page you bought.
On the paper in the wrong package..if you buy the dark florals..you will find the light paper you want..

Hi Bumble. The paper packs were mixed up. The pack you want is in the dark package. There was a mix up with the packaging. Check in the package while at the store.
I have watched many other Dollar Store shoppers who found the same problem with those papers that did not match the cover sheet. So disappointing

I shop often at Dollar Tree for journal supplies. It's fun to try out new things and not spend a lot of money. Recently, I have loved their chalkboard stickers and using metallic markers to doodle or write. Glad you did this video. I have several of the supplies you are showing, and you gave me other ideas for using them.
This is so strange, I have watched two other youtubers who have opened that same paper pack and the papers don't match what is on the outside. Honestly that usually doesn't happen very often at Dollar Tree and it was only that one design because they opened other varieties and they were as advertised on the cover.

I have seen many people open the 6x6 paper pack, and everyone had the same problem. The spring cover has winter dark papers and vice versa. I guess we would need to open the pack at the store.
I watched someone else's video who bought two pack of that paper, and she found that the front page that showed the contents were switched. She recommended looking inside the pack at the store.
