Just wanted to say that red glitter paper might be sticker paper. I bought that paper in another color and was surprised to find out it was sticker paper
I just found a lot of stationary at Dollar General. I was just wasting time there until a prescription was filled and walked out with large & small paperbooks, fine liners, brush pins, and new scissors. I was thoroughly surprised and the pen quality is actually really nice. I love my Archer&Olive pens but $1 for the primary colors is a nice alternative.
my favorite planner items to get at Dollar Tree are the stickers in the holiday section... you need to get them early! however, they are always great quality and adorable! the Valentine's day stickers this year were super cute!

I pick up some things in the Dollar Tree every once in a while. I find a lot of the rub off transfers in many different patterns, I like them and use them a lot. The dollar store often has a nice selection of these.
I am watchful of Dollar Tree product, but I did find that when the school supplies come out their black gel pens are remarkable. They come in a 10 pack for 1.25 and I have used them in Zentangles and have not been disappointed.
I bought a cute and silly 80's Pets sticker book from Dollar Tree. I thought it was a good find for $1.25. It has a giraffe wearing glasses, sticking it's tongue out and a chimpanzee with glasses blowing a bubble, rubik's cubes and VHS tapes, etc. It also has words like "tubular" and "no duh". Taking me right back 😂😂
hey Mary-Ellen, thanks for this video! Even though there is no Dollar Tree in our country, there are comparable stores where I have already found some things for my planner. I think it's good when you show us that you don't need the brand for all supplies to design your planner. I wanted to add a video idea; I would be interested to see how you integrate a Dutch door into your planner. or other gimmicks, with a double page from the Happy Planner.
I go Dollar Tree regularly for all kinds of things, including art and planning supplies, stationary, and quite a bit of things. I've bought some of the same things you bought.

I shop often at Dollar Tree for journal supplies. It's fun to try out new things and not spend a lot of money. Recently, I have loved their chalkboard stickers and using metallic markers to doodle or write. Glad you did this video. I have several of the supplies you are showing, and you gave me other ideas for using them.
I shop at the dollar tree for craft supplies. Love it, always find usable items. The planners are few and far between but they are usually with the school supplies if they have them
I actually like the Jot correction tape and use stickers from there in my spreads. I've actually used the window decals before too... I should share some pics.
This was fun to see. I have bought stickers and pens. I am hoping mine has that pen with the two lines! Fun! I like the videos you have done about saving money! I am in the mode too so it helps. Sometimes my planner is the only creative outlet I have for the week. So I enjoy being artsy and such. But not the prices of the stickers and pages. So looking for fun and free or at least less expensive! You have done fabulous stuff!
I'm a big dollar tree girliee! Definitely tip is always check before you buy! (Referring to the paper pack) sadly I've seen them with the incorrect cover idk if it was a manufacturing thing or people? But I always check first to make sure im getting what I want! Alsoooo you're at the tape part now, Definitely recommend there double sided peel tape from crafter square!! Soo good! Has come in handy for my several times too when my tape roller ran out
I bought those small clear letter stamps too, and they fell off my clear block repeatedly, no matter what I did. I finally just had to trash them. I do use the correction tape, but I hold it differently than you were holding it, so it’s not uncomfortable to me. But I’ve used them a lot, so maybe I’m just used to them by now. LOL
I always look at supplies at Dollar Tree but don't always buy. I got my first ever Happy Planner sticker book there a few years back! I haven't had good luck with the rub on transfers. I bought those same alphabet/number stamps and I've only used a couple of the alphabet fonts and the numbers but I really like them. I saw some metallic brush pens I've been wanting to try out but I have so many pens I've been resisting. Squaird Plans showed how to make your own planner dividers with the Dollar Tree cutting mats so I've enjoyed doing that. I love the comparisons and especially how you used the double-sided tape! I'm forever running out of my glue runner refills and that's a great substitute! I'd love to see the 5 Below haul and maybe a Pop Shelf haul if you have one around!

Some of the Dollar Trees near me even have discbound supplies! They often have micros with colored paper - I have one with black paper because I am dark and moody :) But I have also seen discs and covers and punched sticker sheets.

I buy the Optimus pens at my Dollar Tree. I love them! I also buy the INC .7 gel pen in black. It writes beautifully and feels nice in my hand. I went back and got a couple more. I also got the INC Micro Tip Brush Pens. Haven't used them yet though. I don't get stickers when I can find nice ones and I did find a little mini disc notebook. It's a Happy Planner knock-off, but I got because I thought it was so cute! Nice size for a purse. I have 3 Dollar Tree stores within a short driving distance and they each have different items. Unfortunately, the best one seems to be the furthest from me! Loved the video. I'll look and see if my stores have any of the products you bought.

I bought all my happy planner & other planner layouts thru Etsy so I print out what I need when I need them and I also have a monthly subscription to creative fabrica and I download all sorts of paper patterns and graphics so I make my own junk journal pages and planner stickers
Their planners come out at the end of summer along with yearly calendars. I've been buying them for the last 10 years. Look around end of July and early August.

You can also check your local Dollar General. Some are adding a small section of paper/journal crafting supplies. Some are from the company American Crafts.
I have the washi tape that looks like the watercolor bubbles. It’s so cute- I used it for a birthday/anniversary tracking page. The dollar tree near me sells Bic brand correction tape and it works great. I haven’t seen planners there other than generic looking spiral ones or the smaller paper type.
I have a bunch of stuff from dollar tree, five below, and stationery pal that I love to use in my planners/journals/crafts. I would also give a kidney to see you do a haul of pen and gear brand (Walmart's brand) and Mr. Pen brand supplies.
I have seen many people open the 6x6 paper pack, and everyone had the same problem. The spring cover has winter dark papers and vice versa. I guess we would need to open the pack at the store.
Yes I love this type of video. I’ve seen other people haul that paper pack and everyone I’ve seen the papers have been switched. If you would have gotten the one with the dark colors on the front, it would have been the yellow flower pack lol I have yet to find them in any of my dollar trees though.

I buy quite a bit from dollar tree! I buy the letter stickers mostly and sticky notes. I use the correction tape when I’m on the go, like at work using my planner. I also buy the ribbon there to decorate paper clips to add pizazz to my planners.

Hi Bumble. The paper packs were mixed up. The pack you want is in the dark package. There was a mix up with the packaging. Check in the package while at the store.
Went to Dollar Tree to get the double tip markers and remembered that they also had whiteout tape from Bic that had more on it for the same price as the one you got. You might like that one better. I like it!

You're the second YT I've seen with this problem on the pattern paper packs. The other person got the pack you did and another package. They packages had the labels swapped. Also the colors were much fuller than the label. Just journaling with possum patty a couple of weeks ago if you want to see them.
I saw on another TH-cam video that the packages of 6x6 paper had the front sheet transposed. If you go back and buy the package with cover sheet to match your paper, the paper will match cover sheet you have.
The dollar tree 6x6 paper pads were actually mixed up. The paper that matched that coversheet was in the package that had the coversheet for the dark and moody papers. Many TH-cam creators have shown those and it has happened to every one of them. Also, the colors are very different from what is on the cover sheets. They are generally darker than the coversheet.

Dollar Tree has lots of hidden gems. Next time I go, I'll be looking for some of these items. Yes, more dollar tree videos.

Dollar Tree also has BIC correction tape, and it's made in Japan. Sometimes they're out of stock, so when I see it I grab two or three.
I saw another lady review those paper packs, the dark moody package contained the cheery sunflower set and vise versa, they mixed it up. Surprise!

I also do not like that correction tape but often the Dollar Tree has Bic correction tape as well and I stock up on those when they have them

Great variety of stationery. I have and love the zebra sarasas and the paper packs. I have also used the sticky note sets in my planner.
I have used the double side tape on my reading journal. Works good and stickers, ribbon. Lots of stuff for less money. Thanks

For the correction runner, put your thumb on top of the groove... it's vertu ergonomic and comfortable.
The 3 Dollar Tree stores near me don’t all carry the same items. Bummer. Each store is a little different.

The miss marked paper pack is a known issue. However, one of the other packs does have the patterns on your package.

Many TH-cam creators have shown those and it has happened to every one of them. Also, the colors are very different from what is on the cover sheets. They are generally darker than the coversheet.
