Im planning to do something like a GTA game too (for a dlc sorta game) and i think the progress is pretty good! I recommend you dont really base the map off GTA maps so its more original, same with the story
I remember the game "Streets of Bloxwood" being a really good GTA recreation in ROBLOX, but that was in 2014. It's gonna be interesting to see what people are gonna be able to do now.

Also for Roads you should use plugins to spread them easier Sidewalk decorations can make it look less like somebody inserted a free model into roblox studio; so far it seems empty so defiently should work on that, also just like to add; there should be somewhere that's like a main area, perhaps a central playground? also the atmosphere should be a bit more gray I get this is the first devlog and I'm excited to see what's coming next. [Developer tips]: If you want to load in-game and view the map, you can open the output, which can be activated by going to view and finding console / output, this can also be done with F9 then type this command: without the apostrophes, ' game.Workspace.Scroof.Humanoid.WalkSpeed = 50 ' Notifications & Phones will make your game stand out alot, Legal Jobs such as Uber driver, Pizza delivery, etc will give more variety. Add a sandy area, like "Sandy Shores" with it's own sheriff department and police department you seem to have forgot about them in this devlog; sandy shores can be more empty whilst the main city is more crowded and full of life, also an airport or military area would be epic for roleplays with flying gear, airplanes, going to war, etc. you could also add your own addons for dedicated servers / community servers.
