How amazing is she! Totally blown away by these interviews which I've been watching of her. I grew up watching her films..mesmerised by her dramatic and impressive performances. Such an awe inspiring actor of drama and suspense, yet..what a relaxed, unassuming, comedic character in interviews. Absolutely enamoured by Dame Bette

My friend and I were there that day! After the show she had her cart driver take her to the fence where a small crowd was gathered. She stood up and spoke to us a bit, then drove away. I took a picture. Unforgettable experience! Summer 1985

I find myself watching this over an action movie on my new home theatre system. Bette Davis is my favorite actress of all time and one of my all time favorite interviews. I think Johnny did it best with her. They are both missed terribly. How great it is that she did all these interviews so late in life. She's obviously having a great time .

Its so difficult to see through the years on an elderly persons face back to when they were young and vibrant. As is the case with Bette Davis. Believe me when i tell folks this Lady was drop dead gorgeous. But oh what a handful she truly was.
She was in over 100 movies. And was the boss on evsry set. Not by design but because she demanded it. Things were going to be her way or you would hit the highway!!! I love to hear her tell her stories. As much as we think so highly of her no thinks more highly of her than Bette Davis herself. But that part of her charm.
By the way if anyone ever wondered.......if Bette like the song "shes got Bette Davis eyes" by Kim Karnes. He exact words were "i absolutely love it!!!!"
And through that song Kim Karnes became a good friend of and to Bette Davis. The song seems to describe Miss Davis really quite well. Read the lyrics to the song. You are Missed Bette Davis but certainly not forgotten

I wish this was from the very beginning. If memory serves, Johnny commented on her dress and she said something to the effect of "I figured I'm 80 whatever years old and I'll wear whatever I want!" Then she went into where she got it. That's the best part of the interview! I've decided to model my old person personality after her.

Bette Davis is Bette Davis. What does it matter if she was drinking etc. It still is alot better than Britney spears's best performance ( if she ever had any ) or any of the NO talents that are around today. This woman gave so many yrs of excellence in Movies theater and guests on talk shows. She is a real legend.

What her Daughter BD did to her Mother writing a tell all book was the most UnChristian Unbiblical behavior conceived on her Mother Bette Davis
    was anger ..
Do not let the Sun go down on your anger. Do not give place to the devil
    Self Righteousness..
Clearly writing to expose her faults is anger...and hatred..give it to God...

We bring our sins to God..and God will take care of it..

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord
    Honor thy Father and Mother

Forgive and you will be forgiven

    King James Version
    2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
We let God Be God..surrender to Hos Will
When we do not forgive..we are refusing to let it go...our sin

So sad, at least to my eyes and ears to see a true movie icon try to hold onto fame and the attention of an audience when she does NOT have anything to prove.
I thought the magic of Bette Davis was that she didn't care about awards or what anyone thought about her. Who cares why the French gave her that medal ?
Let her body of work speak for itself.
