I was curious about the infinitive absolute that occurs with the article. It sounded like you said Num. 10:39 but there are only 36 verses in Num. 10. Could you provide the reference here please? Thanks!
I think it’s so mysterious that it doesn’t exist!... neither the example nor the reference. I did some digging around and I don’t know what I was referring to. I checked my original paper notes from 2004/5 and there was no reference to it. I did a search in Accordance for infinitives absolute with the article and I didn’t come up with anything. I suspect I had probably found a form that I thought was an infinitive absolute with the article but it was actually not an infinitive absolute.

Maybe I was looking at the first “he” in הַהַסְכֵּן in Num 22:30 and mistaking the “he” as an article, rather than an interrogative “he”.
