Maxon Legal One: A&B Disposal

- This nice looking example of the classic Maxon Legal One makes up a third of A&B Disposal's fleet. You might recognize A&B's distinctive colors from the old Garbage Day video. Recycling is collected at the beginning then dumped, followed by two garbage routes.
Thanks to Max (the driver), George, and all the guys at A&B for being so cool, and giving me free rein to film. And of course to Zach and Bill for setting up the whole thing. Filmed February 14 and April 16, 2013.

I agree, the Legal One is stunning, so glad you can still get one new from FF Gomez. Zach tells me that gap is often taken up by a mini folding follower panel, like on a DuraPack ASL but smaller. That would be cool to see.

Same here, I've taken much more of an interest in front loaders lately. These are a far cry from what we operate on the east coast. Because these trucks are limited to around 10 tons payload, the load is hardly ever packed tight. So tip to dump works fine. Thanks!

Awesome footage! Enjoyed the vast amount of angles in this one. Also, the transfer station dump footage, hopper footage, and in cab. Most likely one of the most of variety FL videos I've watched ever. These last two FL videos you've uploaded has really made me gain more interest in Front Loaders. Driver seemed cool as hell, and that tip to dump concept on these FLs looks pretty badass. Loud FEL and I really like the look of a chromed out bumper and grille. Hell of a video, George!
Phenomenal work! It's trucks like these that remind me why I like the refuse industry. I wish I could have the "front load experience" but it's kind of hard to do that with mcneilus front loaders for commercial. Haha Amazing video! Really enjoyed that hopper shot and the dumping of the recycle. That In cab angle was pretty awesome too! Really enjoyed this video! Loved all the speed and revving. Hope to see more awesome trucks soon!
I came across the unloading shot and that was awesome enough to watch. The short 3 stage body cylinder gives a nice quick lift result. A good idea how they can run the hoses between the middle of the body and chassis via that two piece fold, don't really need it much these days but. Next I came across 4:45 and was very exciting to discover bin after bin get dumped, plus the pack after pack!!! Insane angle you can get from up the top. A big thanks to A&B for giving you an unlimited videoing experience; a shame not all companies are like them eh.

Awesome video! Loved the in cab and packing shots! Although the packing shot dumpsters looked like recycle; they weren't, right?
I like the outside rear of cab PTO controls. I know these are west coast trucks, but this system would sure help me here on my east coast route when I have a lot of pullout cans.
All of the main body builders offer them, just seems an unknown option east of the Rockies. The only make I personally have yet to see them on is EZ Pack but I don't see why they couldn't do it. All a matter of asking for them.
does A&B disposal mix the waste ?
