- After all this time, we finally have the Suzuki Jimny for review! Now, we are a bit late, and other Philippine car reviewers already got their opinions out, but here it is. All 1.5-liters of its gasoline engine was used in this video, but it didn't break a sweat. See our review of the Jimny, and watch to the end for a special giveaway.

I love my Suzuki Jimny! It just brought back the joy of driving for me. I prefer using it more than the Everest and Raptor. Make sure to upgrade the suspension and tires to fully enjoy the ride. 225/75/R16 is what I use for the tires and OLD MAN EMU for the suspension.

i see why my wife likes this car since it was introduced last year..everytime we see it here in abu dhabi,even with a g63 beside it,it is definitely a looker..saw one pulling a 20foot speedboat/yacht on a trailer,its like "what 1.5L?"..

sir caco, jimny is like a toy for them, they prefer it than quads or atvs to play at the desert..waiting time for the units is usually 6 months,so if we saw one on display,it is considered sold already,just waiting to be pick up..

Back in 2019, I permanently moved from the USA to my wife’s home country of the Philippines.
During the Pandemic, I stumbled upon this Jimny review on YT when I was researching on buying my first vehicle here in the Phils. As much as I wanted this vehicle, I couldn’t get it because at the time, it was not practical for my small family.
Fast forward 4 years (2024) later and now an owner of a 7 seater SUV and a 4 door sedan. I can proudly say that I am now an owner of a Suzuki Jimny 5 door AT variant.
I’m glad I waited.
BTW, you are one of my fav YT vehicle reviewers.
I hardly get to drive on open roads anymore during this unfortunate season. But watching your car reviews makes me light up like a kid again, Caco! Great job to you and your team!

I have a 2015 jimny and upto now its working very well. Its best for city use and even offroad. Kayang lumusob ng baha toh. And even rocky roads. The best car for me.

For the longest time of waiting! Waited since March of 2019. ( materialized last February 27,2020/ jungle green Glx.) looks speak for itself( timeless/ classic)very fun to drive & I love it!

I was really interested with this car, but the price..... Ehhrm. I ended up getting a Navara EL. But I completely understand guys who would really go after this.
For me, this is basically a two seater with a large rear cargo space. If I wanted more passenger space, I'd remove the rear seats and install folding benches on both sides just like those on a 1980s model box type Land Cruiser and turn that Jimny into a convertible six seater rear door passenger entry vehicle.

I remember asking a sales guy from Suzuki around early to mid-2019, the Jimny is in such high demand, that those who ordered the top of the line model might get their units around the first quarter of 2020.

This is a good review. I think it would make the review better if you're able to show the performance of the vehicle like the articulation of the suspension and how to overcome some challenging terrain. Keep it up!

Great review. I'm getting my Jimny 2022 probably first quarter of 2022 but I'm still undecided which color to choose. I like the Medium Gray but when I saw the Kinetic yellow I fell in love immediately. Probably one of the hardest decision I'll make. Haha

Would love that little diecast Jimny! I was eyeing the Jimny when I purchased my car, ended up getting a Jazz since I needed the space more. I do miss my first car which was a JA71 (2nd Gen Jimny).

The beginner off-roader's choice. And its predecessors called Samurai in the US, slashed the competition. Samurais sold twice as many units as Jeep Wranglers at the time!
If I had the money and extra parking space for this little toy, I would get it bigger and fatter wheels and tires, give the engine a steroid feeder, and probably get it in a military color like sand beige or dark green and make it matte.

Apparently, Maruti (subsidiary of Suzuki in India) is developing a 5-door Jimny for the turban market. Idk if this will also be released in Japan or even here aaand I think its no longer proportioned for its size. It looks like stretched but thats just me 😅

A suggestion for your next car review just to spice things up. Puede po bng full tagalog version on your next review
The one feature that reviewers ALWAYS forget is that in lieu of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, if you have an android phone, if you plug it in, it mirrors your display. So technically you can download the android auto app from the playstore, plug in your phone, and BOOM! you're good to go.

Interior is a little bit cramp in size. Perfect for a weekend offroad car or for young couples. You’ll never go wrong with a Suzuki. ☺️
