This doesn't mean he was playable. This sort of thing happened in xv1 and xv2 with great apes, Demigra, final form Mira, corrupted zamasu etc. They just modded a semi functional control rig for him.
Paid update crystal raid character, calling it now. Probs defaults to this map however, cause... needs ground to walk on and a big enough arena.

They should have him with a shitload of health and have his Stamina bar take quite a lot of damage to decrease until it breaks, And after the stamina breaks it's gone forever like in the mission where you learn Beast lmao.

I guarantee you they’ll make Cell Max playable through the Crystal Raids like Corrupted Fused Zamasu and them in the future
I honestly think him being in a crystal raid kinda sucks since you need crystals and those are kinda hard to get
I mean you can play corrupted zamasu in training, I think you had to give a gift or buy something with tp medals?

I’m sad they still haven’t implemented a mode for playable giant characters like Oozarus yet. It would have made way for stuff like Hirudegarn and giant original character Namekians to be brought into the game. And Cell Max being 100% definitely playable because of that would have been nice back during the first dlc leaks of him.
Then again, player controlled hyper armor sounds a bit sketchy, but if Dimps is fine with the slaughter that is Crystal Raids, then they should be okay with that as well.

they are 3 explanations 1. he will be a new crystal raid character , 2. during the dlc 16 story mode our characters somehow control cell max for some reason or 3. they cut him from being a crystal raid boss and just left he files in
If Cell Max is playable, they should make Ozaru characters playable too
Wish they would make crystal raid battle offline against CPUs. I really like the game mode but don't have the money for PS+ and it also gets boring only being able to play as the boss characters in training mode. Also, Demigra could have honestly been a full-fledged playable character through all game modes. His moves aren't as crazy/broken compared to Half-Corrupted Fused Zamasu and Final Form Mira.
Cell max is there most polished raid boss. If the great apes (Or even giant form) were polished like this then they'd be worth playing and or fighting against.
Giant playable characters only happend in tenkachi series
Tenkaichi 4 will guaranteed have a playable Cell Max at least!

As much as people want Cell Max to be playable, I'd say no. It's like you want to play as Bebi Vegeta as a Great Ape, or any other Saiyan as a Great Ape. Believe me, it's not happening.

i don't wanna drop the ball but he not becoming playable, he just acting like if you use a great ape too, if you changed any of the great ape moves they would also work, this includes transformations.
