      Its certainly more than 6mln dollars
      But even 6mln dollars is good amount in India where things are way cheaper compared to USA
      You can eat all day with 2.5dollars ,a haircut costs like 2dollars from a good salon compared to the inflated rates in the west

      That's coz most of the brass players are not in professional orchestra Getting millions that need amazing quality instruments but rather in "baaraats" or the ceremonies for weddings where bands play for celebration and barely get minimum wage.
      There's barely any schools in some cities that teaches professional quality instruments.

  • @davidjacobs8558

    so... what is the life expectancy of these instrument in the hand of one of those wedding musicians?
    how often do they have to get a new horn?
    every 10 years? 20 years? or do they last life time with some repairs?

    When is the useless educational department of India (NEP, NCF that controls the useless boards of education such as CBSE, ICSE, Matric, State boards etc) going to learn to make musical education as part of the education? Imagine every K-12 school teaching music compulsory to all students. Then these music instrument makers can flourish. Else, music, arts are lost.

    • @davidjacobs8558
      @davidjacobs8558 ปีที่แล้ว

      funny, because that is how the Gypsies started out. the King of Persia felt sorry for his people unable to enjoy music, so he asked King of India to send him some musicians. Which the King of India did, and sent thousands of musicians to Persia. King of Persia gave each Indian Musicians a cow and a goat and sent them to all the small villages in Persia to perform musics for the people. only after few month, these musicians some how lost the cow and goat, and became beggers. King of Persia got angry, and kicked all of them out of Persia. thus they became Gypsies moving from one country to next.

    • @prabhubharathan
      @prabhubharathan ปีที่แล้ว

      @@davidjacobs8558 Handshake requires the co-operation of 2 parties. It seems that Persians were not interested in respecting the Indian musicians.
      Contra, when the major religion of Persia became intolerant of other religions, a group of Persians called "Parsis" migrated eastwards to India and settled down there.
      As you may know, the Parsis in India today not only share a common culture (as did Persia prior to the Islamic invasion), but are affluent and have made the country very prosperous. The house of TATAs is a good example.
      Bade Gulam Ali Khan from Pakistan moved to India 10 years after the partition of India because he was "frustrated with the society there". Adnan Sami, a singer from Pakistan took Indian Citizenship in the 2000s.
      It appears that India is welcoming of artists but the same is not true of Persia. Possibly Europe too because the Roma are Gypsies of Indian origin who also live a miserable life across the European continent.
