It's worth noting that the Unicorn, in classical legend, was considered a pure and WILD creature. Highly dangerous. A raw force of nature, said to be the mightiest of animals, even greater than the elephant. The significance of the unicorn submitting to a virgin arose from the miraculous contrast of that act against its usual untamed behavior. It's telling that in England's royal coat of arms, while both the lion and unicorn are depicted, it is the _Unicorn_ that is bound in chains. Symbolic of the need to contain its power. So what would this mean in the context of the police station? Perhaps it signifies that potency of the law. The trio of figures - Lion, Unicorn, and Virgin - signifying a marriage between valor, strength, and gentleness/justice/reason. The statues memorialize good officers; the bravest, most competent, and most devoted to the law of them all.
It's also relevant, I think, that the statue symbolic of justice and heroism hides the path to the sewers which hides the path to NEST, which is essentially the Heart of Darkness. Aside from just a way out it provides the evidence of Umbrella's role in the disaster and the opportunity to hurt them by destroying the lab and all of the research there. In a roundabout way, that one statue is what allowed our heroes to bring Umbrella to justice.

I think the giant statue is meant to be a statue of Joan of Arc. The virgin female knight who is often depicted with her sword and a flag. Also a martyr as well.
I still would love to see your take on dark souls or bloodborne , considering they both have deep lore , and you being one of my favorite content creators

Luv u mus3! I like RE, but i dont think its deep or scary, its just adrenaline and despair, more focused on action. Silent hill otherwise is somewhat disturbing and provocative in deep mind context. Dont knw if its just me, but i feel twicely envolved when the research information comes from a SH game.
