BJ also has to Pregame with the... 1. Clock Operator 2. should walk the field 3. Pregame with ball personel 4. Should pre-game with punt returners and strength of kickers leg
Interesting. Now with the 40/25 play clock, BJ typically is responsible for that. LJ is usually the backup timer. To be safe, I wear a play clock device on my belt, and keep a backup game clock on my wristwatch. If I have radio, I also communicate with my SJ (7-man crew) or LJ (5-man crew) about clock status and times.
Back Judge hands the ball to the kicker on a free kick. On punts, he is 5 yards behind the returner (deepest, if more than 1 returner), or at the goal line, if the punt is from the 50 yard line and in. On field goal attempts, he is under one upright with either a wing official or umpire, depending on association mechanics. He is responsible for ruling on kicks going under/over the crossbar and for the upright closest to him. He blows the whistle on tries and field goals when the kick either scores or misses.
Back judge is a position I wanna learn and do in the 2022 season so this was a great video to watch
Solid video. Love the ‘Eye on Springfield’ theme.

First Varsity Game tonight and I'm a Back Judge. Also, huge point of emphasis is watching Offensive/Defensive Pass Interference as well as "catching."
What about positions on kicks and long runs or passes? And when does back judge get spot?
Kickoff 20 yd line on 5 man

Great video, is that music from Nintendo's 80's game excite bike?

Does Juventus know y’all jacked their logo?
