The beginning is terribly awkward. You need to grasp the gameplay before you can actually succeed and have fun. People come into this thinking survival craft. This is the wrong idea. The game is more akin to a base builder with survival elements. Getting a high population early and managing them well to build out your economy is where this game shines. I’m on day 57 just passed the first invasion. Fully upgraded everything with walls and wolves and the like. After a couple hours of Valheim-like gameplay you’ll find the game lacking in many ways. The whole point is automating so many tedious things. At the beginning it takes a full minute to mine a rock. At day 25 of a well managed game it takes 6-15 seconds or less. With some tools able to do 70+ damage per hit on various resources. The biggest problem for gamers is the assumption of a Valheim styled survival craft game, but the systems in this are very different.
There''s a pile of bones you break to spawn one of the bosses, I only know this because my partner broke it the first hour of the game and had to run for his life lollol
Game is too grindy. helper leaving, dying, winter can kill, the raid. Oh well. hahaha! But great game. I'm enjoying it. But.... you can't afk. feels like 2nd job. I'll give it a week or two. I'm just gonna do enshrouded at least you can afk and watch your castle and be awesome. Enjoy!
Aska means ash in Swedish and it's a game about vikings so I was sure it was Swedish but it's actually Romanian, weird... (I guess they might also mean Åska (thunder) but with first letter being incorrect).
Yeah, but the vikings did go to Romania as well so.. :) Also! You can read about Askahögen and Aska by, it's interesting with history! 📚 And I think they mean Aska (Ashes - the dust that remains when anything is burnt ).🔥 If they've would have meant Åska (thunder) they would've (hopefully) used something close to þordyn or as-eykja instead. :)

Idk, I'll ASKA you 🤷🏻♂️
There are bosses in the game, I just don't know how to summon them. But I know the Wolf boss spawns a year later (in game) once defeated.

I played the demo and I must admit. Aska is dogshit.
GROUNDED is the best one
some valheim copy
Not a copy actually. It's inspired by, yes, but it's more of a town builder/colony sim than pure combat survival.
Valheim is lonely and lacks any proper NPC’s. That a big loss in my book.
nothing innovative. skip
It's short for what i tell people who don't know me. Askaniggaboutme.
