Every moment in Crusade with Sean Connery is an awesome moment. Putting those 2 men as father and son was brilliant. Henry watching Indy shoot Nazis while he’s holding his umbrella and saying “look what you did” as if he hadn’t been James Bond. Crusade is my favorite of these movies.
@@TheImaginator972yeah didn’t play James Bond too at some point, it was a shame that he past during Indiana And The Crystal Skull, yeah that was sad, also Indiana’s friend Marcus passed too such a shame, but i am glad they knowledge there passings by showing pictures of them both in a frame very touching.
I will always have a place in my heart for The Last Crusade, it was the first live action movie i saw in a theater, with my father, so for me everything in that movie is iconic.
It was the first ever Indian Jones movie I watched, not in theaters but my dad showed it to me in the early 2000s. When I was like seven years old or something & I saw the trailer for the 4th movie & automatically wanted to watch it. My dad instantly brought out the classics.
My favorite moment in all the films is the moment Sean Connery holds Indiana Jones dangling over the abyss when he is reaching for the Holy Grail and says “Indiana let it go”… To me. It is the lesson of all lessons for Indy, and the ultimate moment of all 5 films.
And a lesson for his father, equally. He gave up the grail, the meaning of his life, to save his son. And he also called him Indy, which he denied up to this Moment.
Seeing Colonel Dovchenko get covered in that army of siafu (big damn ants) still chills me to my core, but it’s one of my favorite scenes of _Kingdom of the Crystal Skull._
This franchise is a masterpiece! I love every single movies in this series. I've watched and started to like Indiana Jones movies since during my childhood. For sure he is a legend! My favourite iconic moment is the one and only iconic gun vs sword scene! It's so classic and iconic!
If I had to pick per movie: Raiders - Of course it's the SUPER iconic temple intro especially the escape with the boulder booby trap! Temple of Doom - The mine cart chase, as well as the hanging bridge sequence! The creepy crawly bits also are veery memorable! Crusade - EVERY SCENE with the late and GREAT Sean Connery! (My favorite are the seagulls!) But the Tank action sequence is just amazing! Crystal Skull - The warehouse action sequence as well as the motorcycle chase scene with Mutt and Indy! Dial of Destiny - The entire opening sequence!
Dude these scenes and the incredible actors and actresses who helped make it some of the most iconic movie scenes in history is why Indiana Jones is loved by all
One of my favorites in this franchise is of course the boulder scene that started it all, and with the dial of destiny out, my fav moment from that movie is the chase scene from NYC. I cannot narrow all of my favorites from all 5 movies as they're instantly all my favs lol. Man, I had a great time watching the Dial of Destiny on Sunday with my family, and my mom loved every second of it.
The opening, rather introduction sequence of Indiana Jones will always be iconic and awesome. And choosing of the holy grail. Amrish puri was terrifyingly brilliant as Mola Ram
My List 1. Temple Escape 2. "He Chose Poorly" 3 Bridge Cut 4. Origin from a Scout 5. Gun for a Sword Fight 6. Tank Brawl 7. Truck Chase 8. Mine Kart Ride 9. the Ark is Open 10. Motorcycle Chase 11. Human Sacrifice Ritual 12. Passing Three Challenge 13. Tied in Fire 14. Train Escape 15. "Anything Goes 16. Finding Crate Among Thousand 17. Plane Mech Brawl 18. Horse Ride in New York 19. Burning Bar Brawl 20. "No More Parachute"
I gotta say the Train sequence from Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny was a really great opening scene it showed A lot of SPOLIER people died, but i really also like the ticket parade when he was on that horse and running through the subway i thought that was incredible to watch that in a theatre it was an awesome experience and one i could never forget. There across aboard really great movies through the franchise as well, when he shot that guy that was ICONIC as well, so there are a lot of moments but the train sequence they did and the ticket parade running through the subway on a horse was my favourite scene.
Plenty of great moments but for me the greatest moment in the series is seeing Indiana Jones standing like a badass and knocks out mola rams guard then saves all the enslaved children in temple of doom. Just my thoughts but it was the moment that made me see Indiana Jones as more than a professor/ archaeologist… he’s a hero.
The boat, airplane and motorcycle chase scenes, as well as when Indy, his father and his friends ride off into the sunset in The Last Crusade were also awesome moments.
Dan Aykroyd was also in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" as Weber, the person who chartered the plane and (because of a stunt injury) a good portion of the shots of Indy featured Harrison Ford's stunt double, Vic Armstrong because they favored each other in appearance.
The Last Crusade was my favorite but I like all of them. I will definitly miss these action movies . Thank you Harrison Ford for all the adventures as Indiana Jones ❤❤❤
Opening to Temple Of Doom only at number 16???, probs one of the best moments in the whole film series, top 3 for sure and arguably one of the best intros to a movie ever.
The motorcycle chase in Last Crusade. Indy deals with the nazis following him and grins in triumph. He looks across at Henry Snr, who just glares. Indy's grin just disappears. It'll always be funny.
Okay, this one might not count as it does not involve Indy, but one of my absolute favorite moments in the franchise: Colonel Vogel: Tell me about this miserable little diary of yours. (slaps Henry Sr. with his glove) We have the map, the book is useless and yet you come all the way back to Berlin to get it. Why? (he slaps Henry again) What are you hiding? (he slaps him again) What does the diary tell you that it doesn't tell us? (He tries to slap him again, but Henry grabs his wrist, stopping him) Professor Henry Jones Sr. (through his teeth): It tells me that goose-stepping morons like yourself should try reading books instead of burning them! No matter what role he played or how old he was, Sean Connery was AWESOME.
Henry Sr.: "They're shooting at us!!" Indy: "I **KNOW**, Dad!" Henry: Well, it's a new experience for me." Indy: "Happens to me all the time!" Still one of my favorite moments in Last Crusade. Especially when you think of it as an in-joke - right, Mr Bond?!! 🤣🤣
Last Crusade is my favorite movie in the quintilogy, but all 5 movies were incredible! Considering Indiana Jones is one of my family’s favorite series of movies, we went ahead and saw Dial of Destiny on opening day.
1 .the Whip moment in that bar table in this last movie was worth the ticket all by it self 🤩 2. the opening of the ark is THE scariest scene for me, the efects hold uo verry well 😨
My personal favourite moment is when Indy returns to the village in Temple of doom with the stone and the children, it feels like the ultimate happy end when everyone is happy and celebrate AND the raiders march carried the whole scene.
The funniest part is definitely "No ticket" from The last crusade but the scene that is the best action sequence for me is the Market scene in Raiders of the lost Ark
Come back in 10 years or so and watch how that opening train sequence in Dial of Destiny easily moves up to at least the top 5. Watching our hero on his prime thanks to modern technology and filmmaking is something else.. I felt something similar to when Luke Skywalker showed up in The Mandalorian finale
Indy 'The hell you will. He's got a two day head start on you, which is more than he needs. Brody's got friends in every town and village from here to the Sudan, he speaks a dozen languages, knows every local custom, he'll blend in, disappear, you'll never see him again. With any luck, he's got the grail' Marcus ' can anybody speak English, that's a top moment !
We don't how the critics are calling out Dial Of Destiny for ruining Indiana Jones, screw that because all of us wanted to see Harrison Ford doning the iconic role one last time.
By the time this list in this video ended, all the scenes I thought were great were covered. There was another chase in Dial of Destiny that brought back memories of the mining car chase, but it was in broad daylight and they were using Cushman-type cars. Temple of Doom also had that scene where Indy and Short Round almost get crushed in that crypt room and Willie saves them, kind of, but then Indy and Short Round end up again narrowly escaping. Then, there was the underwater scene in Dial where Indy ends up pulling his and Helena's BC vest inflators to make them rocket to the surface and out of danger. But their lungs would have exploded had they really tried that ha ha.
Love that Marion! I still love that scene where she's got a torch in her hand which she's about to hit a henchman with and she pauses to grab a mouthful of the leaking whiskey.
I Never Grew-Up With STAR WARS Because I'm A Major Indiana Jones Fan And I Always Enjoyed Rewatch Every Single Moments From The Trilogy Waiting To See The Dial Of Destiny. 🤠
I just watched Dial of Destiny today, I enjoyed it. I actually found Kingdom of the Crystal Skull quite watchable, Dial of Destiny was even better The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones also had good moments, the adventures aren't complete without the series. A lot of people seem to hate Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I've recently heard some hate for Dial of Destiny. Believe it or not I've even seen some hate for Temple of Doom. The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones gets ignored by many fans, at least they acknowledge the films they didn't like. The show still counts as part of the franchise, it's on Disney Plus with the episode usually excluded from streaming now included. I have old DVDs, but I'd totally buy a blu ray upgrade and if they ever release television on 4K. . . .
Fun fact: Indiana Jones was originally going to be an Eagle Scout but since the BSA doesn’t give Eagle patches to non-eagle scouts and Spielberg couldn’t find a scout willing to let their uniform be used Indiana is officially a life scout. Since we never hear of him getting his eagle he is a life for life
I’ll always love the Indy films (well, the first three at least) but my favourite moment will always be a single line of dialogue spoken, in consummate style, by the later Sean Connery and quoted by me dozens of times since … … “I should have mailed it to the Marxsh Brothersh!”
Best in each- Raiders - “Keep you eyes SHUT!!” Doom - Thuggee Brawl on the treadmill Crusade - “The Tapestries!” Skull - Campus Action Destiny - Cave action.
Looking forward to re-watching Indy as a geriatric loser who's wife has left him, who's students are bored by him, who gets punched out by a skinny woman, and who wishes he was just dead? Yeah what an amazing end to the franchise. Can't wait to buy that one.
The opening of the Ark is one of my favourite ever movie scenes. It still looks impressive now. Also have to love how the Nazis were expecting to find stone inside and all they find is a pile of sand.
The next Indiana Jones list should involve witty dialogue and comebacks. The Last Crusade had that funny scene where Henry Jones Sr realises that his son brought his diary and says "I should have sent it to the Marx Brothers" which doesn't get talked about as much. But the film also ruined the character of Marcus Brody, turning him into the comic relief guy instead of building off the serious man that he was in Raiders of the Lost Arc.
Not a big action sequence, but I loved this in-joke from Last Crusade: Indy: "How did you know she's a Nazi, Dad?" Henry Sr.: "She talks in her sleep." Indy: *Gives a Wait, What? double take* Henry Sr: *Smirks like Sean Connery's OTHER character...*
I'm a little surprised that the fridge scene didn't make the list. Then again, there are so many iconic moments, that at least a part 2 would be needed.
N° 9 he says to practise archaeology, you have to get out of the library. However, in Last Crusade, he says that 70% of archaeology is done in the library.
There are two types of people: Those who think Raiders of the Lost Ark is the best Indiana Jones movie, and those who think The Last Crusade is the best Indiana Jones movie. Both are correct, but personal preferences differ.
I grew up playing the Lego video games on Nintendo wii with my dad 15 years ago, and we both loved the first 3 movies even though the first 3 came out after I was born. We plan to go watch the 5th movie in theaters in 2 days so I can't wait because I have wanted to watch an Indiana Jones movie in theaters with my dad for 15 years since the only one to come out after I was born was the 4th one and that one I didn't see until about 2009 when I was 8. Raiders is my favorite, but this 5th one might change that for me, we will see.
The truck chase in Raiders is perfection. This list also needed Indy’s face reveal in Raiders - talk about an awesome moment! The top 5 should’ve been nothing but Raiders clips. Dial has no business on this list in my opinion.
Honorable Mentions: *No Ticket - Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade *Digging Up The Tomb - Raiders Of The Lost Ark -Accompanied by a fun song by the diggers, we find... snakes. Why did it have to be snakes? *Henry Scares The Birds - Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade *Don't Cross The Seal - Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade
It's kinda funny how Big Bang Theory created the argument about how Indy doesn't affect the plot of Raiders of the Lost Ark, though I somewhat beg to differ. Besides, the whole point of the Indiana Jones franchise is the adventures Indy goes on, and him getting something greater out of it besides the treasure in question.

This franchise has many iconic moments. But for me Indy getting chased by that big rock in Raiders is iconic.

I say.
I will always have a place in my heart for The Last Crusade, it was the first live action movie i saw in a theater, with my father, so for me everything in that movie is iconic.

The boulder scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark is the definition of iconic. I think even the Grail Knight knows it.
The franchise will be my fave forever!!!!!!
Missed the boat scene, the motorcycle scene and the airplane scene from The Last Crusade
My favorite part in dial was the Han Solo reference.

#10: It wasn't just the look that showed Elsa gave him the wrong (gold) cup, she literally tells Indy moments later that IT wouldn't be made of gold.
The opening of the Ark is one of my favourite ever movie scenes. It still looks impressive now. Also have to love how the Nazis were expecting to find stone inside and all they find is a pile of sand.
Some moments in these movies are iconic for a reason
The next Indiana Jones list should involve witty dialogue and comebacks. The Last Crusade had that funny scene where Henry Jones Sr realises that his son brought his diary and says "I should have sent it to the Marx Brothers" which doesn't get talked about as much. But the film also ruined the character of Marcus Brody, turning him into the comic relief guy instead of building off the serious man that he was in Raiders of the Lost Arc.
Not a big action sequence, but I loved this in-joke from Last Crusade:
Indy: "How did you know she's a Nazi, Dad?"
Henry Sr.: "She talks in her sleep."
Indy: *Gives a Wait, What? double take*
Henry Sr: *Smirks like Sean Connery's OTHER character...*
the actor playing the swordman must be like "wtf? this isn't in the script!"

Raiders is my favorite, but this 5th one might change that for me, we will see.
Where is the ending of The Last Crusade? One of the most beautiful secuencies?
Great video! I think all of the original 3 scenes should be above the ones from Crystal Skull and Dial of disaster... sorry Destiny.
The truck chase in Raiders is perfection. This list also needed Indy’s face reveal in Raiders - talk about an awesome moment!
The top 5 should’ve been nothing but Raiders clips.
Dial has no business on this list in my opinion.
The ant scene from Crystal Skull not being on the list is criminal
Honorable Mentions:
*No Ticket - Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade
*Digging Up The Tomb - Raiders Of The Lost Ark
-Accompanied by a fun song by the diggers, we find... snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?
*Henry Scares The Birds - Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade
*Don't Cross The Seal - Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade
Action will (Maybe) Never had a Name, like Indiana Jones.
I first saw the Face Melting scene from Raiders when I was 8 and I was like "Uuuhhhhh they didn't teach us THIS in Sunday School O_O"
