Happy memories we moved there in 1943 and dad was fishing with Tom Paddon, whose brother Phil was head lightkeeper on Montagu where I used to spend my school holidays, John Jubb and I had toy boats and played near the old jetty shown in the clip, all the fishermen were friendly to us youngsters, Ike Doolan and I used to trap rabbits among the sleepers awating for the ship to take them to Sydney, from the sea jetty, the local baker taught me to swin in the Blue Pool, Ernie Millican had a shipyard up near the old bridge, where he built work boats for the navy.
