I haven't pressed play yet, i will shortly. I bought my vitpilen 3 weeks ago, put 600 miles on it so far and head to Wales this weekend. Can't imagine having to give it back!
Thanks TMF, I love your vids and found this one quite relaxing! The purr of that single and your voice talking about renaults, white vans, English weather and thatched roofs...
Interesting fact, to enhance your fact, not only does a City need a Cathedral, but it also requires an Arch Bishop to qualify as a City. Now, one very famous City that has a Cathedral, but no Arch Bishop is, Cambridge. Great vlogerage again. Thank you!
TheMissendenFlyer I didn’t know either, until we visited Cambridge a couple of weeks ago and a rather charming hotel receptionist at The Gonville Hotel informed us. A most excellent hotel and a lovely city, well worth a blast across to.

Nice Vlog, and glad to see it's not just me that has that stream of consciousness on a cross country journey. Towns, markets, Renault design, thatched roofs cottages....
I cant imagine why 22 people clicked thumbs down, im guessing people cant side with good honest comprehensive reviews. People take to help and educate and people hit the thumbs down for no apparent reason other than it could be competitive manufacturers. Been great watching the reviews.
This has to be a Saturday or Sunday as you overtook my wife and daughter in the Hyundai (9.40). They need to look after the horses and boy that is an expensive hobby. On the up side I've never had any grief from her about my bike obsession or how many I've got as to her, they all look the same but apparently horses look different! No they don't. The're brown, smell, eat, poop, kick, bite, have minds of their own, can't be left in a garage untended for months. I wish I had the same level of commitment as horse riders they deal with all that and ride all year round all weathers. Good on them.

1:39 lol didn't expect to see that Tillery Valley van. I was working for them when this was recorded and did that route regularly and drove that van regularly. That might well be me. The company WAS based in the South Wales valleys and only had a handful of vehicles so it's very unlikely to see one. I said "was" because the company shut down in March.
Excellent bike but another ~£550 would buy a Street Triple 765RS. The Vitpilen should be based on the 790 parallel twin engine (plus better suspension & brakes) and be somewhat cheaper. Enjoyed the vlog :-)
Great video, nice to see my old stomping ground. I don't miss Aylesbury! Winslow is a lovely place(almost bought a house there) reasonably rural but with good Motorway links and MK on the doorstep. I have toyed with the idea of trading my 690 Duke R for a Vitpilen as they are doing good deals at the moment, but I love the looks of my R way more than the Husky.
Never gonna have Husqvarna in my life, never gonna see one in real life but I enjoy your videos. So this was fun. That Triumph looks so grown up compared to the Husqvarna, with it's throaty voice and muscular body.

I sort of get your obsession with bikes having fuel gauges but really, most of them aren't that good. A motorcycle tank is really too small for a gauge to be that meaningful. The one on my Goldwing isn't really that much use and that holds 25 litres. For a bike like this one, I would much prefer an old fashioned reserve tap so when the engine cuts out, you know exactly how much fuel you have left.
If you think a motorbike fuel gauge isn't much good you should experience one in a light aircraft!! I take your point though, however, I'd still rather have one than not....
There's a list of cities somewhere in the UK, you have to be on that to be a city. Brighton is an example of a city without a cathedral and Rochester is an example of a town with a cathedral, which isn't a city, simply because they forgot to put it on the list.

Hey TMF, looking for some advice here. What would you recommend to be a good Sunday bike....meaning I don’t commute or track day or tour, just a half day blast on a dry day. If you want a quality light bike, the Street Triple still seems the best bet, albeit more expensive. What other m’bikes over 600cc, but weighing less than 180 kg are there?
TheMissendenFlyer - spec indicates the Interceptor is 202 kg without fuel. The Speed Twin is lighter. I don’t think there are many quality bikes on the market lighter than the Street Triple.

What do you think about the NHS voluntary bikers who deliver blood being dumped for a private contractor. Your comment about Milton Keynes put me in mind of it - I saw a demo by the bikers today in London. Very dignified and supportive. Milton Keynes is neither a town or a city, it's the result of a committee of people that contracted syphilis, infecting each other, while being supplied vast amounts of alcohol by the government(s) of the time. Ultimately leading to an inability to distinguish between Le Courbosier and Couvisier. Leading to it being the suicide capital of the UK (I might have made that up.
