Good morning DK, from Victor from Langley, BC Canada 🇨🇦 I love how you used such a perfect example of Tanger to address Graves. Dubas is not a dumb man and have been of fan of his since he signed with us. I was tired of Hex's horrible trades and ending off what Rutherford was doing by giving away our farm and picks. So, Graves.....if he is, and not doubting you, that apt student you claim who finished his worst season and now with a strong defensive assistant coach, Graves now may flourish to be the Dman we were waiting on and who Dubas saw. "It's a good life, you may have to weaken to find somewhere to grow...." The Hip. 🤔👏🙏
There was nothing to fix when he was in New Jersey which led to him getting that contract. So saying he needs fixed I don't believe is correct. He didn't all of the sudden forget how to play. He simply doesn't fit the system and anyone who watching in NJ can see that. I would add that sometimes defensemen need time to adjust to a new system and new players. He wasn't terrible and finished 5th in +- on the team. I suspect he'll be better this year but again, perhaps Dubas should have done more research before handing out that contract.
Does anyone else see a guy who has size and skills looking like a guy who just isnt very interested in being out there when they look at Graves? I realize athletes can portray a very laid back persona out there, but you still get the notion that a big fire is burning within..I dont see that with Graves? Maybe it's just me. Ed

Thanks DK - It was great to hear some specificities about how Graves can turn it around.

McGroarty isn’t ready. He’ll be in Wilkes this year.
I would be perfectly happy to see McGroarty on a third line with Eller and Glass.
Clear your mind of everything g but fine defending and breathing. Fine defending and breathing. Fine defending. And. Breathing.
Hope springs eternal!
Think they’ll go 3 lefties on the second line?
