Sri U Srinivas will always be remembered for his hard work and musical talent. Shekar Gupta seems hasty and rude. Not enough respect given to the legendary U Srinivas. So many interruptions while Srinivas is still answering.
Extremely disappointing to see the way a legend, maestro has been interviewed. Not even a single good question. Srinivas is an epitome of humility and divine talent. How could NDTV select comeone like this to interview such a great personality ?

And the questions are so naive and cliched. Getting Padmashree is not a credential here, having minimum knowledge, understanding of what Srinivas does and a proper set of questions put in an appropriate manner are the credentials which are clearly missing in this !

I remember every moment. we all (batchmates of 2005 music department, kalakshetra) will be very happy. Kindly do the needful

I have come to know Sri. U. Srinivas for the first time. Oh! what a genius is he to have born with this talent. I am used to a saying, ' Some are born genius ' etc. U. Srinivas is one such example. Even more interesting is his unique idea to choose the instrument one might like to express his mind through his music while respecting traditional music and its instruments. While all thinkers contribute to the growth of music, freethinkers like him may end up doing even better. I used to listen to the Shakthi group at times but never had a chance to see U. Srinivas play.
Moronic Gupta does not have the basic respect nor any idea of the stature of the goliath for who he's interviewing, clearly indicated by the body language and tone of "questioning". Treats him like a street performer ! Great testament to Shrinivas's personality that he answers with such great humility.
Nowadays I don't like NDTV, but I am here only because of Mandolin U. Srinivas avaru. The Mandolin Maestro is so Humble, but I didn't like the Tone of so called Interviewer, humbleness is lacking in Shekhar Gupta. Just NDTV things!
