Thank you for this video Mike, I am trying to learn online and there is always a point where it seems too hard, too much rules to remember, and suddenly motivation fades out... Seeing you is always motivating and your videos are great, especially that you emphasize how learning a language as a foreign language is a different experience than the native speakers encounter. Keep up the good work :)
As an Arabic native speaker I would say you could learn maybe till 60-70 % from the cartoons and series but you have also to communicate and live with Arabic speakers societies. Arabic is pretty difficult specially that we speak with a completely different accents from each other and even more than the difference between British and American English for example my Egyptian Arabic is different from the Arabic you're speaking with, On the other hand I learnt speaking English fluently with the same percentage through the internet, listening to songs and watching english movies but I could have never learnt the language entirely from only the internet.

There is the proper arabic we call it fus ha(فصحی) it's the written language which you can communicate with any arab in the world and it's the same in every country we use it in news cartoons especially .and there is different dialects in each arabian country and even city.so I advise you to learn the proper one then try to focus on one accent
