Really want to dye my hair red. I’ve been looking on TH-cam for so many red dyes and this is by far the most natural looking red dye I’ve seen. Unfortunately most red dyes I have seen don’t look very natural at all. I love this color. 😍
I love the way this turned out! I'm actually going back to a red-head after (also) being dirty-blonde/very light brown for entirely too long! I think the mixture of the two colors gave you some definition instead of just being one flat, solid color. You rock it well & you have DEFINITELY given me the push I needed (and excellent color selections with Wella Tango b/c out of all the Wella options, that line is one of my favorites!) I might just have to start my own channel simply to rock my own color application. (I'm new to your channel but WOOHOO for theatre! I am a liberal arts graduate myself and I loved all of my theatre friends who now have cool jobs in places like NYC... but I digress..) Your color is lovely! Keep rocking it! :)

My hair on top is starting to fade more n more - we turn white after we fade I guess but any deeper coppery color will look great with our white skin👍🏻👍🏻 plus the places where you have lighter than the rest of your head will also stay lighter making it look way awesome 😁. Don’t forget that natural red is extremely hard to cover n will not look like the color on the box

I'm naturally a redhead but I feel like it's a sibling of dirty blonde. I use Rainbow Henna in copper to stain my hair. It's a great color that looks like my hair color before all the bleach killed it.
I use the same exact colors to dye my hair, either/or, like if they're out of the 8RG I just get the 8R I don't really know the difference but my hair is naturally brown so I use 30 volume developer! It doesn't get as bright as yours but it looks natural too! And I'm a redhead for the exact same reasons 😂 I have freckles too so it suits me

Hey fellow ginger. If you add a natural to your formula at the root it will keep it from going too bright. Also when it fades you can use a Demi permanent color to refresh the color in between full retouches ☺️😊

I have natural dirty blonde hair and I've been dying the tips red (with cheap drugstore dye). I'm not sure if I want to dye the top of my hair, because I don't want to lose my natural color. But I really do love the red look so I don't know!
I was worried about dying my hair the first time too because I was scared of the same thing, but then I realized that honestly hair does grow back and you can match pretty much any shade of hair to a dye if you wanted to go back. Of course I’m not the one to make that decision for you, but I made the same one and I’ve loved it ever since!

I suggest trying Arctic Fox since they are cruelty free and vegan. Their specific color combo for true ginger is as follows: 1 part Cosmic Sunshine 1/4 part Sunset Orange 1/8 part (basically just a dab) Purple Rain

I’m a natural blonde but I’ve been using box dyes to be a ginger for over a year and I know they say not to but I put the dye in my eyebrows for half the time you’d leave it in your hair and I have brows that match, they don’t come out crazy if you don’t leave it on too long.
I just used this same mixture...it's so scary orange. I have it on processing. My hair is a little darker so we will see how it turns out in 20 more min 😁

They don’t have an auburn color, so you’d have to buy multiple dyes to make auburn from what they have. The costs will add up to be pretty pricey.

Most Ion hair color is vegan. Developers and bleach too. I use a mix of light and medium copper and it comes out wonderfully!
