@Mr Saady, the fire fighting Piping are not only Horizontals, there are also Verticals if we Report those Quantities they will be less than the Actual and same goes to Electical cabling or and Piping, plumbing,....... Please give us your Point of Views

I hope my viewers understand, this video was not about "How to be QS" and "what to measure in Plumbing" This video was focused, if you are QS then how to add value through PlanSwift Software in FireFighting Systems. I totally agree with your comments and actually there should be vertical pipes, Joints, Fitting and many items which i didn't mention in the video. I would recommend you to try Planswift. PlanSwift is affordable, Easy, Faster & Standalone. you can also go for CostX but it might be slightly Expensive and slower due to 3D functionality. However, both are popular and cover requirements for QS Work.

for verticals there should be a drop/riser adders....I use EBM to do it...it will bite you in the rear if you only report horizontals
