After watching your other videos from there May 23rd 2022 my dad and I made the hour and a half trip to Greenwich in search of some cub parts for our 9 tractor collection. We found everything on our list and at a good price just like you said , planning to make at least one more trip out there sometime this year. We told the guys at Adam's that we had heard about them from your videos 👍

I have a Dietz Allis Vanguard that was given to me. It has a dump bed and rear wheel steering driven by an Eaton hydro pump. It will take some werk but I think it's doable. Pretty cool lil rig.
When my parents lived out in the country they had a John Deere 400 for snow blowing and mowing the lawn and we all liked it except it kept breaking down melting parts in the engine compartment. I would love to have another one like it and fix those overheating issues.

There wete a few old narrow frames last year. Think model 122s and 102s. I am pretty sure he has the thinner 23x8.5-12 rims and tires. The thiner rims are pretty easu to find. There may be some on the 482 cub cadets as well.
Thanks for the tour! Your audio during the ride up was very difficult to hear your voice over the truck noise. Next time you do a walk through it would be nice if you chose some different footwear, the clop clop clop of your boots was annoying. Otherwise It was a nice subject to cover!

Location has a lot to do with tractor prices. They actually are pretty fair priced. I have been in the garden tractor collecting for 28 years now. Tractors in the 90s were around average 300 to 500 for nice running Cadets. Prices have gone up in the last 8 years now with the hobby becoming increasingly popular. It is nothing to see Cadets sell for upward of 1500.00, And Deers are bringing top dollar some in the 5k range in Ohio. I am sure he deals on these prices. I do like how he does sell some of the tractors complete instead of just parting everything out. These tractors are work more than double parted out. I have learned in my years of collecting that if you buy a cheap tractor that needs work it will end up costing you way more in the long run buying all the parts. You usually just don't notice it because its 50.00 here and 20.00 there. I'm sure he has time going through these making them complete and making sure they run. At the end of the day he has to make a profit for his work just like the rest of us. If your looking for a specific tractor model and it is all complete ready to go he is very responsible on Prices from what I have seen. The tractor market is really strange tho. Prices very a lot on location.

The 400s are great tractors. Some parts for them can be hard to find sometimes. Hope you get another one someday.
