You are definitely the horror book and film guru around these parts! I know I am going to shock you but I generally pass on spooky season and Hallowe'en. However, I may re-read Anne Rice's classic Interview With The Vampire and watch the movie. As well, I will probably read Frankenstein along with Dustin.

I don’t know about guru lol but I’ll take that compliment and I thought about joining that fellowship read but I already had too much on my TBR for October lol and it’s ok. Spooky season isn’t for everyone.

I would love to watch the new Salem Lot movie but it not show in many cinemas near me but I might try, even though it probably won't be very good.

I know it’ll be on HBO Max so that’s how I’ll be watching it. From the movie trailer it seems like an interesting take!

You have a very fun taste in horror films.
Have you seen People under the Stairs? I think your wife wouldnt mind watching that.
Night of the Living Dead is great even outside the horror genre.
Not too scary for the wife imo. Serpent and the Rainbow is another really cool zombie film.
I could go on and on 😅
    Great list you got there.

Me and my wife watched the people under the stairs a couple years back and we enjoyed it. It was a little out there to say the least but we still enjoyed it. I haven’t seen serpent and the rainbow yet although I plan on watching it soon hopefully. We need to collaborate on a video in October around horror movies or something lol

@@OuterWorldMedia I'm not as knowledgeable as you about the genre but I can ramble about horror movies no problem. 😅

Hey Sir, as soon as I saw “the fly” on the thumbnail I had to click the video! Absolutely love that movie, takes me back to my childhood in that video rental store and looking at the awesome movie posters, the fly was one that pops into my mind and nightmare on elm street! I am a huge horror fan, thanks for sharing! Monster Squad is awesome hopefully you got chance to see it now 👍

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I haven’t gotten around to watching it just yet but I know that feeling it’s how I feel about thirteen ghosts.

Awesome collection. I've seen most of these movies, and I love them. The Halloween franchise is my overall favorite. The original Halloween will forever be my favorite horror film of all time 🎃 I also try to watch as many horror movies as I can during the month of October

Thanks! The Halloween series is in my top 3 favorite horror franchises. I try to watch movies i haven’t seen before but it’s really hard having so many horror classics😂

The Thing is great, but I'm not a fan of Prince of Darkness either. It's definitely in the bottom tier of Carpenter's filmography for me. IMO The Fog, Christine & In the Mouth of Madness are underrated.
I have a few horror movies to watch in October but not near as many as you. I plan to watch Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) & Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994). I also plan to watch The Ring (2002). Not sure what else I'll watch? I'll have to check the Peacock 🦚.

I thought prince of darknes was ok when I watched it last year I just didn’t get the hype around it. I really like 1992’s Dracula and I like the remake of the ring from 2002 I haven’t seen 1994’s Frankenstein yet. I need to get my hands on the universal monsters collection and watch all of those.
