W00tw00t, let's start ranking all the amazing humans of the past and helped create the building blocks of modern day life. A breath of fresh air to hear about a woman also contributing. I want more names! Massive thank you to Ada! ❤️
So here's the story. I'm casually looking for videos about Lady Ada and like 20-30 down the youtube video lineup I see this thumbnail. Verbally say "ha! dang that girl looks like Miranda Cosgrove". Then look below and read the words under. 😆 Nice Would not expect someone singing about Shakespeare a decade and a half ago to have this level of commitment. Props for that and yes, puns intended. Good Job Miranda. Ada was a special woman. Next to Hypatia, mother Eve and Mary.
Joseph Jacquard was the first programmer with his loom that produced intricate weavings of patterns and pictures with punch cards. Ada was on the right track but Joseph's Jacquard put pixels on fabric before we had a screen to put it on. Machine code ones and zeros.
Any technology consists of multiple threads and breakthroughs coming together, so it's always a bit of a grey area saying who's "first". Ada Lovelace, however, was the first to document applying a written algorithm to control a computational device, so that is why she is generally considered to have been the "first programmer".
@ScottTaylorMCPD Now we are down to Semantics, so Agree to disagree on what constitutes substantial contributings falling into what defines a computer program.
So . important. This is the same thing I learned in college with the white house so I really hope people can pick up on this and learn it more, We're all still learning, after all.
Ima give you some feed back. Your camera is just a tad to far when your explaining things. Also if you could use a bit better animation you could make this channel extremely popular. Other then that this is good. Keep up the good work
Thanks Miranda. Now I remember one thing in the generation of computer science that I didn't remember
Miranda you're always my favorite host I ❤️ your show and you
I loved it. Also, most the software used to program the International Space Station is written in a language called “Ada"

Very Educational. Did not know that??? Those days that was pretty old.
People should definitely know about her, especially Computer Science students like me. Thanks a lot for making this video🙌🙌
This segment is included in the S06 E02 episode of Mission Unstoppable, airing on CBS and Paramount Plus.
Proof that if you’re rich you can learn anything!❤️☺️

I love Ada Lovelace. Awesome name, more awesome person. It’s sad she died so young.

Thank you
This is great for a reformation of the education system. Have the subjects speak our language. Keep it up.
Why did Ms Ada Lovelace die early?Back to the Future right?Actually such genius minds exist all over the world.

In the intro, Miranda looks like she is cosplaying Wednesday writing a horror novel.
Can you put subtitle in all your video like in insta? 😭👍
Please.

Your really smart but is it true? People where pioneers when it was 1815 and there was not any electronics
What do you mean? Your assumption makes the facts to distort. Ada wrote what is considered the first computer program.
You can have non-electronic computers. In fact, those were the first kind of computers.
