@sholeenaks What a great story. I love driving on the TCH in BC, so much history, so many interesting stories. Thanks for this JR, believe it or not I do remember wondering about that particular outcropping while I was filming this...it seemed odd that it was there. Now I know!
Well Thunderhead,Your friend has great taste!!,,RUSH is good for road trips,,,So is Triumph,Aerosmith,Tom Petty and any Max Webster tunes you may have...I'll be staying in Hope for a week in Sep and plan on ripping up and down this road a few times...Meet me out there !! We'll make some vids !! I gotta hit the "Elvis Rocks the Canyon" restaurant at least once though!
@wrxmike123 heheheh, funny, one of my friends said the same thing! It was just luck of the draw for this video, 10 hours of music to get me to Van with a minimum of repeats (but I did pack a healthy dose of Rush, if that helps!). This is easily one of the best parts of the drive out there, I get a kick out of Fraser Canyon.
Sometimes,the exhaust and the sound of gear changing is nice too.
