You said in the beginning you used concrete for the flap disk what do you mean by that?
Grind the rear of the flap disk so that it creats a pointy ouside edge, like a knife edge

Do you use any type of sealant after you stain?
Not always, generally a matt poly spray finish woks best for me.

I havn't had the pleasure to meet the Merlinn yet sorry..
It’s similar to proxxon but stronger will start with merlin2 and your bit for dremel.love your work

They look stunning, I'm building a new head board and your videos are very inspiring. Have you considered including some lighting between the large and small pieces? The radiated light and shadows on that texture would be amazing.
