I used to do the last one without water. If demonstrate on myself describing it as an intelligence test. When I put it on their forehead I just remove it without letting them see. They feel like it's still there and keep walking the back of their head until they realise they failed the test.
Another similar one is to use a pencil to colour along the edge of a coin. Use a clean coin to show how you can hold the coin between thumb and gorefinger then roll the coin down your face. Then give them the other coin, when they do it they will draw a line down their face without knowing it.
