The only problem I see with the comparison at the end is that it sounds louder with the return track on, which obviously gonna make it sound better to the ear. For a true comparison you need volume compensation.

Hello! The one you have is an updated version, as the knee knob wasn't really that much fun to turn and didn't do much difference to the sound. Insanity is much more fun, as it's engaging additional compressors in the plugin, to a maximum of 5 compressors in series. And you can use as many parallell compression tracks you want as long as it sounds good and you get the effect you want. In techno, the less rules the better music :) Hope this is helpful!
