My dad worked at Canobie back in the 1970's and after a trip to Busch Gardens and a ride on Stanley Falls suggested that Canobie build a flume ride. They shot it right down saying it was too expensive and the New England weather wouldn't support it. My dad left Canobie a year later to pursue another job and a year after that Canobie builds a Log Flume ride. Thanks dad!

when i went on this ride my family wanted me to sit up front to get the full blast of the splash cause they didnt want to get too wet. so when we went down the big hill i bent over and let the water go over me and get everyone else wet. they were pissed

Is there a law that there has to be someone before the drop on log rides watching the people in america ?? Because in Europe I never came to see that and in pov's of american log rides I see that nearly every time !
I like how this flume, the station, and other buildings are more authentic looking than those in most parks...most flume rides are blue, this one is more natural looking -
