Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Just order my combo Bellman CX-25P gonna go back to this video for the base process. Hoping this brand won't disappoint my expectations.
Hi Josh, we accidentally forgot to put in the filter in the lid and now coffee grounds are clogged up in the lid/ the metal little pipe that the coffee is supposed to. Ive tried running it with water only but it doesn't seeem to clear out that way. Any suggestions? thanks
How do you keep it from sputtering when extracting the coffee? I've tried heavier grounds, finer grounds, slowly heating and no matter what I do, when I extract the coffee, it's a heavy steam wand. (yes I open the knob about 1/4 turn) doesn't matter. Just steams the coffee out.
Is the coffee fresh? This is a further consideration. The fresher the coffee - the more resistance it has to water. The older the coffee - (from roasted) this generally being supermarket bought coffee - and pre-ground coffee - the less resistance it will have to pressure and the more likely it will steam out.
Trying to master my CX25P. You make it look so easy but I have work to do. Watching your clips I don't notice you placing the reducer in coffee basket so first question; is the reducer necessary? Filters don't fit as easily with reducer. Question 2; Could you tell me how much coffee to use for a double latte'? I just have one in the morning so can keep it simple. Milk isn't perfected yet but getting close. Thanks for any help you can give me, Pat
Thanks Pat. I've had mine awhile - also - I'll note doing it in a studio is much easier than out camping or on the road 🙌 I use a reducer only if it's not a full basket of coffee. Which is rare. I equate 20g coffee to a double espresso - which I would use for 1 cup of coffee. So if making two cups - it's always a full basket. If just making one cup - then use the reducer - placed in first - so that you have maximum room above to add coffee - and paper filter on top of that.
You would really want to increase the increase both. Or else you'll dilute the espresso down to much. Have a target of at least 15g coffee per cup, and the water is pretty straight forward - more than 2 cups - fill it up 👌
How much is is leaking ? And through the lid or seal? - Definitely contact our customer support and we can help you out further if you're able to provide images of the issue no doubt 🫶

Watched a dozen videos and found this one very informative and interesting. Thank you
do you recommend this product?
Glad it was helpful!
Yes 🫶
Thanks for the info. I couldn't get a decent brew so hoping this will help with a few trial runs
So frustrating to get it right. Very hit and miss.
Is there a stainless mess replacement for the paper filters
Is there a distinctive difference in taste compared to well done Moka pot coffee?

Try submerging it overnight in a coffee cleaner and water bath then trying to rinse it out again

we have the exactly same problem. Our coffee is fresh and we grind it at home just before making it. Tried finer grounds, heavier grounds…

Where are these products made?

With Moka method, if you need more coffee per cup - would you increase the amount of water put into the pot or still stick with 3?

Hi, I just purchased one. It leaks a very little amount from the top when brewing, should I return it or is this expected?

Sorry, this was only my first brew. It was just a little leak but in my second brew I got even more serious when tightening. Never happened again.
Where did you buy that breville induction top?
online. In the Jungle of South America 😉
