- Most of the time I do rope drops just to soak in the morning atmosphere but this time I actually rode some rides! The weather was perfect and the crowds were low…. I couldn’t have asked for a better morning at the Magic Kingdom. 💜

7:00 This odd side road was originally going to be the entrance to an Edison-themed land showing technology changing American life through the last 200 years. Eventually the idea fell by the wayside, but this street was going to be the entrance.

I have never heard about that before! It definitely looks like it was meant for something that never panned out so it’s good to know that back story, maybe they thought that Carousal Of Progress already had that covered. 😉

We usually stack the rides and go at night but next time we’ll flip it around, it was fun and it helped that it wasn’t busy. 😉

Man, I can never get anyone to rope drop with me anymore! Honestly last trip even I was falling back asleep after booking 7 am genie!
When I go with mom I usually get Genie+ early then spend the day stacking them for us to go at night but I’m really starting to enjoy the rope drops! 😃 Oh, I thought of you Saturday morning at the Poly! I was there for a sunrise walk and I met the two cutest birds… one was a little loud woodpecker and I don’t know what kind the second one was but it sang the sweetest little song! This bird nerd was happy. 😉🐦⬛🌸

I always loved rope drop at the Magic Kingdom. Cool air and open spaces before the crush. Do you remember when the opening ceremony used to be by the train station? I really enjoyed seeing the whole Peter Pan queue, good first ride choice 😊. This is also the first time I’ve seen the whole Little Mermaid ride 👍.
Glorious views again from the Treehouse. Haunted Mansion, yes! This was a nice change of pace

I do remember that! One time in particular when my bestie and I skipped school and made it in time for rope drop comes flooding back… those were great times. ☺️
I was hoping you would approve of my rope drop choice this time! The Peter Pan queue is so cute, I was glad to be able to go through it so quickly because most of the time if I don’t use genie+ I just end up skipping it. Same with the queue for Ariels Undersea Adventure.
Sunsets and closing the park are my favorite times to be there but I’m really starting to appreciate a good rope drop! 😍

@@wdwexploreandchill Thank YOU for this channel, it's so wonderful. Count me in for a treadmill group, lol, it keeps me going between trips. I haven't been able to get to WDW since December 2022, I know it's not *forever* but I wish I could go all the time. Watching videos while on a treadmill is kinda good because it reminds you what it's like to be there - walking!! Hahahaha! But it makes it fun to walk!!!
