Falcon kills a bird and feeds its chicks in the nest_Falco tinnunculus_Common Kestrel feeding chicks

A male kestrel has caught a bird and eats its head while it is still alive. It brings it to the nest and gives it to the female which at first it takes it away to eat some of it and then it feeds the rest of it to the chicks.

That is gourmet level killing. Skin clean off, debeak and… the rest of the head. All of these and the poor prey was still alive. Great video!!
