Post the era of legendary Ramanand Sagar, if there was anyone who did justice to Lord Ram, in depicting our epic, it was Yugo Sako, Ram Mohan & Koichi Sasaki who directed the anime The Legend of Prince Rama back in 1992; regrettably, Yugo Sako passed away in 2012 & did not get the much-required acknowledgement which he deserved from our country.
However, the journey for making this movie was not without controversies, Vishva Hindu Parishad had challenged citing that no person from foreign origin could subjectively cinematize Ramayana, for it being of great national heritage of India; this confusion was resolved when Yugo Sako convinced VHP that the anime would bring our glorious epic to a much wider international audience.
Really want to see the stand of VHP after the repulsive interpretation of our epic by Adipurush. We are definitely living in the era of Kali Yug.
Yugo Sako’s anime is a must watch title & for those who are collector like me, there will be a 4K release for this interpretation. This is the way I’ve envisioned Lord Rama & Hanumanji.

Honesty I have a very fond memories having grown up watching Ramayana, Mahabharata. Jai Hanuman etc and was very eager to take my kids for him to know/experience the same but hearing all the negatives feel very disappointed..
There was a time when we all Indians used to watch all such great shows together (irrespective of which faith one was from) be it Ramayan or Alif Laila or Tipu Sultan or any other not just for entertainment but to learn/acquire knowledge as well..
Infact the Mahabharatha TV show was written by a Muslim which I am sure most of us did not know or at least did not matter then.

Prabhas actually acted using motion capture technology so they could change his attire however they wanted. Already they received 250 Crore from Netflix. Now they got 217 + crores already from 3 days sales ! If the report is true : *Around 400 Crore (4 Billion INR = $48 - 50 Million)* profit made already. Picture did to make Black into White money basically.
