It's worth mentioning that the prefect lady (the aggressive tall one) is a trans woman. This is her first role back in media after coming out where she used to play handsome male characters before. To be clear this is actually a fairly diverse cast for a Mexican show. Usually Mexican shows only show people with light to medium skin tones in a lead role (As dark as Esteban is usually as far as they go), so someone like MJ and Andi in their roles are a step forward. Luka is a character I hate to love, like everyone should dislike him, but in reality he is a show stealer and a fan favorite.
Luka is my least favorite character... for some reason the character i love to hate is Sebas, the actor plays him so well. I wanted to like Luka, especially since he's on the lgbt, but he just annoyed me. That's obviously just one opinion but yeah. I haven't seen anywhere where Luka is a fan favorite but perhaps because I'm not looking for them lol.
You should totally react to RBD songs eventually. The group was part of the Mexican show but then, out of fiction, they became one of the most successful artists of Latin America and had such a huge impact in our pop culture.

The lodge was part of the first Rebelde as well, they were against scholarships and persecuted people for not being worthy of ews They did a lot of messed up things, like kidnapping, beating people up, one guy almost raped one of the lead girls, he kidnapped her and took her to the woods but her romantic partner saved her and they were able to expose the lodge. In this time the principal and Jannas mother were both students in ews, I even think Jannas mother were part of the lodge but she got her redemption.

As someone who grew up on Rebelde and RBD I'm literally shocked that they decided to focus the show around Mia and Miguel instead of Roberta and Diego. Roberta was literally THE SHOW. aaand I don't think you can undersrand how big the band was... they were literally 1D or BTS level back when hollywood ruled the world

Basically "the lodge" was a classist secret organization made by rich students. Celina (the principal), Pilar (Jana's mom) and the RBD band (whos uniforms and awards are exposed as throphies by the school) when they were students saw the things "the lodge" could do. ⚠️SPOILER⚠️ Jana's mom was part of the lodge when she was a student in the EWS.
The lodge was essentially a secret society at what was back then the Elite Way School. Literally their whole purpose was to "purify" the school of those they seemed unworthy - aka low-income/scholarship students. Pretty sure the operated for 10+ years, if not over two decades at that school They bullied & harrassed these kids with stuff ranging from threatening letters to straight up life-threatening setups staged as "accidents". Several of the main & supporting characters banded to take them down did not escape unscathed. One of the main girls was nearly raped, another one ended up in the hospital - and was actually the younger brother of a former member, & a handful of them got beat up at one point or another too. Celina (the principal here) was besties w Luka's older cousin & one of the Lodge's targets (and the ex of the main guy that headed the rebellion for pack of a better word). Jana's mom & another of the main guys did get recruited into the society, though they did leave them and each got their respective redemption arc. So in short the lodge was a bunch of privileged and classist rich assholes 🙃🥰
Luka made us all emotional, and I am sorry but he was the only one. His character made us laugh with his sassy comments and cry, when he was suffering. Pd. Luka is way funnier if you know Spanish.
