Sir, we can find the moment of inertia using radius and also by using the radius of gyration right..but in what situations do we use radius of gyration to find moment of inertia.
You need to make it clear where the mass is located relevant to the COG. The formula you used in the beginning of the video is incorrect for the wheel example. If the 20 kg mass was at the circumference of the wheel, only then can you use I=m.r². Saying that the wheel weighs 20 kg and assuming the mass is evenly distributed, you need to use I=½.m.r²
