Very interesting. I have so much respect for dancers! If I could return for another life, I’d want to be one! Very big words and so much to go over, but you did a great job breaking it down. Thank you
Hi Anna, my level is intermediate to upper intermediate and your lessons is just what I need. You might speak in slow Russian to give explanations, using simple words. Mine is just a suggestion, you're doing a great job as it is and I love watching your videos. Happy Holidays from Venice, Italy
Ferruccio, happy holidays to you, too! Thank you for your suggestion. At this point I feel more comfortable giving explanations in English but maybe I will advance to using more Russian while explaining things :)
I'm only able to pick up a few words at a time but the relationships between the words are getting there. I think with repeated exposure they'll really start to stick. Thanks!
Hi Anna great videos and clear explanations, very helpful indeed could you do some videos taking news extracts (different items: politics, economics, sports, weather, health care, IT , etc...) in order to facilitate better understanding of news programs on Russian TV also i can not find videos on you tube with Russian subtitles ( do they not use Russian subtitles for the hearing impaired people on Russian channels?), do you have any tips on where to find those? Many thanks
Benjamin, thank you for your suggestion. News extracts are on my list as well. I will do my best to make the first video of this kind soon. As for the Russian subtitles, many of my videos have them. Some of them were made by me, but some are automatic, and they are pretty decent, as far as I have seen. (I will make CC to this video soon). You have to choose subtitles - Russian. Let me know if it works.
Anna thank you very much for your valuable efforts. These types of videos are quite helping. Before watching this video, I was thinking that "I had very limited vocabulary, that's why I couldn't understand". However, at most, there were 5 words that I wasn't knowing, but I couldn't understand in the first listening. Now, I recognised that I should be more familiar with listening from native people, pronunciations, natural speed of language, and it is a matter of practice I'm thinking, what's your opinion?
Ozgur, thank you for your comment. Yes, I totally believe that one needs to train their ear just like we train our muscles in the gym. So the more you listen, the better you become in it!
Очень полезное видео. Понимать какие фразы и поговорки которые исползуют русско-говорящие, это не простое для инностранцев. Переводить на английском не нужно когда мы знаем эти фразы - а также сильно помогает свободно владеть разговорный Русский.
Vagn, hmm... I am pretty sure the sound level is the same as for my other video. I will add CC tonight or tomorrow, maybe it will help understand better.
Why did she use the word 'нон-стоп'? Is the Russian language plagued with anglicisms? Don't you possess enough words in Russian that you must loan them from other languages?

Is it just me, or is the sound too low? On watching the video the second time I scarcely understand more than the first time.

Спасибо большое, Анна! Кстати, мне кажется что иногда только слушать видео лучше чем его смотреть.
Да, это тоже хорошее упражнение!
