Here come the online Bboys, can't we just enjoy the battle and not fight over who's better? Both of those Bboys have such breathtaking musicality in such different ways. I can assure you that both o those dancers just care about the dancing rather than some that only care about how much titles they have won.

I have a feeling that these extremely talented people are really just Ninjas and they do this cause it's fun. They are both really so... COOL!
Go back and watch the way Cloud starts his first set, and how he uses power in the middle of his second set as a response to Neguin. Neguin opened with a lot of power in his second set and Cloud responded with some of his own. Cloud doesn't lack powermoves, he just chooses to stick true to his style and plays with the music as much as he can, because that's the strongest aspect of his style.
It was a close first round, from there cloud killed the beats in round 2 & 3, Neguin focused on the moves more and you can clearly see he was of the beat by seconds in his moves and that's why cloud won, even Neguin new it, look at his face. Cloud took it hands down, but what I love about Neguin, after this battle he practiced hard and gained more stamina and more musicality, compare him here to now.

The thing that's so unfair about Cloud is he's doing LESS, FAR LESS than Neguin here technically and overall his set is far less demanding physically, but his ear for the music and his execution, it's the sort of stuff that really blurs the line between freestyle and choreography because if someone told me that Cloud had worked on that set for 6 years i'd believe it but also if someone told me he made it up mostly in the tournament, i'd also believe it.
It's just that kind of a masterpiece.
That is what makes an artist the master of his craft. Most of the boys can do flashy powermoves and footworks. But how many can actually have that understanding of musicality and rhythm? Cloud is actually a very talented and gifted dancer.
Cloud is definitely the most impressive BBoy i've ever come across. He has rhythm, aswell as BBoy skill. Brilliant.
id hope most dancers at this level have rhythm...
neguin has rhythm as well. cloud has a more unique style and more unique moves. after all he has skill in dance that isn't really bboying. a lot of bboys do lack rhythm.

cloud's musicality understanding and fluidity is what makes him #1 to me. even 11 years later
Cloud to me embodies Breakdancing
The way he dances is so stylistic and innovative, his top rock is just amazing
He doesn't try to do unnecessary power moves to impress judges or look cool
But isn't afraid to break out a few lightning speed flares or windmills
and the way he is so chill and cool about it just adds his personality into his dance

From the looks of it, Cloud used up all his good moves in the earlier rounds. Especially against Kaku. That was an overkill.

Neguin has gotten so much better since this battle, especially in his musicality. Nonetheless it's still great to watch. Cloud of course was dope as always. It would be awesome if these two battled each other again at their current levels. Cloud and Neguin are both among my favorite B Boys.
You forget how old Cloud is now though, not sure if he's still got it in him to bring it 100%.
I like how Clouds style has evolved throughout his career, but if you watch from the beginning to now, it's kind of becomes apparent that as he got older, he moved away from tricks that are hard on the body. At this point, I'm not sure if he could even pull off his signatures like he use to.

To think that Cloud went to the finals with rhythm as his arsenal, while the others mostly went for the power moves. He demonstrated his rhythm perfectly in this match.

O Neguin é o meu B-boy favorito por um simples motivo, a sua humildade. Quando todos os juízes levantam a placa para Cloud, Neguin não ficou nervoso, ele respeitou isso, diferente de Morris, Lilou venceu por unanimidade e Morris ficou muito nervoso. Neguin melhorou muito desde 2009, e hoje é um dos melhores do mundo. BRASIL ♥

This was the best redbull bc one ever in my opinion. They brought it back to the US. They had a great line up and the DJ was on fire all night. Really awesome in every way

This must have changed Neguin's life, because after this I never saw Neguin dance the same again. What a successful battle, both won different things.
And as for Cloud; how beautiful it is to watch bboys with such fresh ideas on this dance, so innovative and so conceptual. It's a very jovial style, but also very athletic. You can tell he has fun while he dances. I hope Cloud comes back to win BC One at some point...

Uma das melhores pq nela vemos dois b-boys do mais alto nível competindo, e mais importantes pq o resultado refletiu diretamente em quem venceu o ano seguinte, Neguin, que evoluiu seu estilo totalmente, melhorou seu inglês e consolidou uma carreira internacional, fazendo o que nenhum outro b-boy brasileiro havia feito até então.

This one is close but after years of watching, I still gotta give it to Neguin vs Lil G. It felt like the win could have gone either way. The voting ended up being 3 for neguin and 2 for Lil G. So close.
For Neguin vs Cloud, Neguin knew he was beat. You can tell when he keeps smiling while watching Cloud.

I was such an idiot. The first time I watched this I thought Cloud was so boring, he didn't do much. But now I just 100% love his perfomance there. He responded, he freestyled, he listened to the music.

Filipino still isn't what you think when you say "Asian." Its culture is nothing like Asia where Chinese, Japanese, and Korean all draw from the same roots. I would say that they could be more closely associated with Polynesian culture than Asian.
TheUnknownMartin Culture has a lot to do with nationality. It's why even though Russia is part of both Asia and Europe, they are still a European nation. It's why Americans are different from English even though Americans were originally British colonists and Australians are Australian even though they were originally British criminals. South East Asia is a lot different from Central Asia and Hawaiians are their own nationality when they immigrated from Polynesia. I'm not trying to cause offense.
cloud is half Filipino half American, Filipinos are asians.
It's really in an in-between state. It's why there is a "south east asian" classification. Taiwan is part of that classification, but their culture is rooted in China. Filipino culture is said to have Austronesian roots, which includes the Philippines but also includes Indonesia, Polynesia, Micronesia, and by extension, Hawaiian. Would you say that Hawaii is Asian?
Furthermore, the culture has been heavily influenced by Spanish and American culture, as the country had been under foreign rule until post World War II.

Teve um erro muito grave nesta batalha pois tinham falado para o Neguin que seria 2 entradas, ele fez as duas e foi comprimentar o Cloud achando que já tinha acabado e foi ai que o Cloud avisou para o Neguin que tinha a terceira entrada. Oque levou a fazer com que o Neguin tivesse que freeztylizar de ultima hora pois pegou ele de surpresa já o Cloud já estava com suas session prontas para realizar 3 entradas tranquilo, se não Neguin teria chances de ganhar essa batalha. Minha opinião !
Cloud sabia , porém percebeu q havia perdido .até pq o juiz entrou na mesma hora . Quem decidiu continuar foi o cloud na minha opinião. i remember watching this in 2009 when i was immature and thinking ngeuin should have won. i thgouth his moves were so flashy and so simple yet well executed.
now in 2013, i LOVE watching cloud because the guy really actually DANCES. he uses less moves but his body movement has more personality. so yeah, if bboying was a sport, neguin would win but bboying is a dance and dance is an art.

Probably but he had to bring his best moves to win over Neguin, cant take it easy on him. Cloud's final was ok but yeah it seem he ran out of moves (you dont wanna repeat moves on BC ONE) and danced a whole lot more, even Lilou called him out in the final "breakdance".

From what i remember he told me he didn't know it was 3 rounds. Every battle up to that point was only 2 rounds and this was the first Semi-Final so he didn't know it would be 3 rounds. He thought the battle was finished and wasn't prepared for the last round. I asked him this same question last year and he was cool enough to answer. XD

Dionea Silva, ele saiu do estilo Brasileiro pra fazer parte desses corupitos da Red Bull ( bc one) por que o Brasil tem os melhores bboys do mundo mas a red bull não escolhe os melhores do Brasil e sim o que são iguais ao neguin ( submisso ao estilo que elês querem ) vou dar um exemplo por que em 2005 levaram o pelezinho sendo que existia bboys muito muito muito melhor que ele. I am trying to figure something out here and hopefully some of you will be able to help me. Seeing that so many people praise Cloud for his originality, I'm wondering if they like Issue or Code from MOO? So many people hate on them, yet, just like Cloud, they are just expressing themselves differently.
I feel like the haters are just focusing on the fact that issue supposedly doesn't incorporate a lot of footwork (he's more moves) which i disagree with.

my husband is a bboy nd all i have to say is that in the bboy world many are hated and love at the same time you just have to take cretinism and know that at the end of the day you are who you are and you cant change that...... in this video i love how bboy cloud played with the crowd because alot of bboys forget that there's a crowd watching nd the crowd reaction to their dancing counts alot in the judges decisions at times

Cloud cost himself the title. He already won this round with just 2 sets. He was too cocky and asked for 1 more round to prove a point which was unecessary . Made himself tired and have less material to use in the final round. Big mistake asking for 1 more round

neguin learned so much in this battle. in the beginning he came in with a killer attitude, but as he saw cloud's style, he respected cloud and admired him. you can see it in his face.

The battle settled when Neguin lost fighting will after second round! With all respect, both are great dancers, Cloud power moves are not his special, but the little moves he does changes everything,the rhythm!! During the battle with Lilou, he did the MJs kick and point his finger to the sky with love, that moment i was touched!!!
I would give it to Negin but cloud is amazing
