They're info is not accurate on how the contract and buy out works. Waiting til jan 1st doesnt save us 4 mil. It literally would only save us about $300k. His contract lowers every single day. Also his "buy out" is not due upon him being fired. We are required to pay him out as if he still worked daily. So its spread out over years.

Look at the recruiting rankings. Wvu out recruits baylor, TCU, k state, and neck and neck with Oklahoma st for that 3rd spot. We have always had the talent. We just haven’t had a coach to be able to put it all together

I’m so tired of people fawning over a group of kids that aren’t even on campus, I would say there is a mass exodus after this season anyway so they may as well get ahead of other schools and start the search for a new HC. The difference between him being fired on December 1st and jan 1st is literally 1 month of his salary difference. So roughly $333k difference. For him to be fired on dec 1st we would pay him roughly 16.5 mil spread out over the remainder of his contract. He is not due a lump sum. Unless he and wvu wanted to try to reach a lump sum settlement.
the problem is if we get any Coach here and they lose a game the fan base will want them fired. We as fans need to get behind these Coaches and players and not bring these guys down
