What Terrence is saying is on the bigger picture.... Realistic one but what debo & jasmin are saying are more like urban thinking... Modern thinking... They are saying relating to themselves.... But if we see in larger picture in rural setup as we say india is 60 % villages, so there its understood like a rule that the man is head of the family he is the earning person he has the right to decide. But in urban setup its changing... Girls also being the earning one are asking for the equal right in the decision making.
Also our parents generation is more like what terrence said my mom too don't want to take the responsibility if the decision goes wrong... So she ask & do every single thing. But my papa is like he involve mom in every decision he make. Also homemaking related decision are taken by mom but overall when there is a situation when their thinking doesn't match then my mom leave it on my papa to take the decision.
