- In this video I have explained using a simple method the benefic or good planets for those people born in SIMHA Lagna or LEO Ascendant. This is on the basis of what Maharshi Parasara taught 5000 years ago. Find out from this video which planet is the Number 1 Malafic Planet (Bad planet). Is JUPITER a friend or foe for SIMHA Lagna people because Jupiter is the lord of the 8th house? Such questions are answered.

I am leo ascendant and mercury isndebiliated and placed in 8th house. I am an M.tech holder. My question is once an astrologer opted me to wear emrald and indone it..but ingot good results. I studied gate by myself and became a gate faculty. But eventhough i studied everything incould not write any tests. Because of certain isues...i have hold insominia..sometimes i had admitted in hospital. So i consukted anothe astrologer who told me taht i should notbwaer enarald as it is marakara being sitting in 8th house inndebeliated situation. He preferred ruby coral over emarald...and i quit emrald..and wear ruby and coral..but it has been six months i started wearing it.but did not get much results..i feel it..but the main problem is i lost my dreams ...when i was wearing emrald each and every time my mind was thinking about my phd ..but now i thought i hav lost this thoughts , nkt completely...can i wear both ruby and emrald....is there any problem with this placement..
Namaste, maybe it's better to avoid continuously buying and wearing Gems and squandering money,better to Fast and do Japa and give some food in charity and wear the colors of auspicious graha's, this will cost you pennies compared to purchasing costly gemstones and not only that will have just as good results🙏

Sir mars is good for leo asc ,but he is badhakesh beeing the 9 lord of luck and 4th of home, for me he is in 6th with debilated Jupiter and Venus.
I see a lot of comments saying that Mercury is not malefic and in fact benefic for Leo Lagna. As this depends on the merit of each individual horoscope, I must admit, I feel that Mercury is the prime enemy of mine, but this is due to the fact that Jupiter is so dominant in my chart. Jupiter is my Atma Karaka and is the 8th Lord in the 8th house in Pisces, so it is dominating my being. Science and religion are polar opposites of the same thing, one appeals to the conscious side of the mind, the other to the subconscious. With the domination of Jupiter in my chart versus Mercury's scientific and quantitative nature, it causes a great schism within my psyche. I dream of moksha, yet Mercury doesn't believe in moksha, as there is no tangible evidence for it. With that said, my spoken and written communication skills are excellent, and I am very good at mathematics, so Mercury is still giving me something. With that said, I find it very difficult to focus on a task at hand.

Sir, your videos are absolutely fantastic. Have been following them from a long time. I have one major confusion/question though. I am a Leo ascendant. So my 10th house lord is Venus and my 11th house lord is mercury. According to my sarvaashtakavarga chart, my 10th house point is 36 and my 11th house points are 41. Now I have read your article on sarvaashtakavarga in your blog site and have come to know that 11th house with more points than 10th is always a good sign. If these 2 planets ruling my 10th and 11th house respectively, can I conclude that the malefic effects of these 2 planets are reduced in my chart, since they are giving good points in my sarvaashtakavarga chart? Kindly note that my mercury is with sun and Saturn in 1st house and Venus is in 3rd house with Mars. There are no planets in 10th or 11th house. Your reply would greatly reduce my confusion. How mercury will be malefic? Mercury rules two money houses and friends with the lagna lord sun. also mercury is a benefic planet. Every 2nd lord not become the maraka. Be practical man not theoretical. See the horoscope of persons and you will find that mercury is not malefic for leo lagna. Only saturn is malefic for leo lagna,
@Munish Sharma : Always remember 3,6,11th lord planets r malefics to any Lagna this is the given in many books such as Brihat parashara, Varahamira, vedic astrology, jaimini astrology and many more,.. Since 2nd house and 11th house is of gains and what ever it is, but still when mercury owns 2nd and 11rh house automatically it is a malefic.. It doesn't depend on any gain house or bad house he is malefic..

What if moon is in fourth house where it is debilitated, it's dasha period will be like and mars in sixth house where exhaulted, if associated with rahu. What will be the result of mahadasa of negative planets as venus is first negative planet and it's dasha period is 18 yrs and mercury is dhanastan. I hope my question is clear as your explanation is very crystal clear.

dear sir the rule says that when a natural malefic owns a kendra he becomes good in the case of saturn he became good but his 6th lordship is not good so is he not neutral to simha lagna people?

Respected Sir, If Jupiter is placed in the 5th house for Leo Asc it is the own house of Jupiter as also Jupiter is a karaka graha for Dhana, Putra etc., but whether Jupiter gives good result if placed in the 5th House as it is also said that karako Bhavanasaya which rule is applicable in such a case or how to find out the ultimate effect of the planet as also the aspects of such a planet.. This is 7th house lord in the 8th house. This is bad for both male or female. 7th house lord in the 8th house means there are high chances for being married to a person who is not healthy or may dominate you. If you do horoscope matching prior to marriage then the domination will be healthy and if no match then domination will be unhealthy. This combination means horoscope matching is a must.

D1 Chart only. Reason is : this is a matter related to LAGNA. Nothing to do with placement of planets. It is about lords of houses.

Yes, extremely if both are within 8 degrees because both of them loves this placement. They feel like their own house and Jupiter makes Mars purer if it's closer. Generally Mars in ascendant not a good placement but this is exceptional. Also you need to take other planets placements . This is my opinion.

Dear Sir, I have a doubt. You have said that 11th is powerful malefic and hence you listed Mercury 1st in the bad planet list for Leo Asc. Where as Sun being the 11th for Tula lagna you listed as 3rd in your good and bad planets for Libra lagna.. Please clarify why is the difference

For Libra ascendant, I mean for thula lagna he listed Jupiter because Jupiter owns 3rd and 6th house both.. It will be the biggest malefic for Libra ascendant.. Always 3rd, 6th and 11th lords are always malefics.. It can never change...
What about rahu in leo ascendent....
It is bad from health point of view. As Rahu is the lord of the 7th house.

I did not understand your question. I would like to tell you that functional benefic planets help you a lot and functional malefic planets throws up many challenges. However if a functional benefic planet occupies good house and causes yoga then it is REALLY GOOD. Same way functional malefic planets well placed can give good results in their Dasha and Antardasha but it comes along with problems. That is how you should understand this.

amol palkar please kindly note that the south indian format is more popular and was actually used in ancient times as the planets move clockwise round and round like in the solar system.
