Yes that was a beautiful area! Having Leroy makes getting those downed ducks a sure thing. So much added to duck hunting with a good dog! thanks for the video!
Thomas , I've decided you've reached a status I would have thought was unobtainable. You are a professional duck hunter. I wish I had been or was. I'm guessing You Tube finances your travels across this country sampling the best waterfowling there is. I've really enjoyed everyone of the hunts you post it takes me back to when I was your age and like you loved talking mallard coaxing them to cup those wings, drop landing gear and drop in like oak leaves. I'd rather watch a dozen mallards or Blackies drop in than see a 12 pt buck walking by my stand. I also believe you have learned the most important rule to be successful calling ducks in is setting up where the birds want to be. You have gotten so good at warerfowl I D and did an awesome job training Leroy. Have you gotten many tagged birds or a Missionary from Jack Miners refuge? Really proud of ya. Hunt safe , your living my dream.
I had a half black lab and half golden retreiver dog named corky when i was young. Leroy reminds me so much of him. Smatest hunting companion dog ive ever had. He knew how to do everything, never had to train him at all. And he was free. Love your videos and leroy. God bless.
Thanks John!! Much appreciated! I trained him using Tim Springers DIY program. I also sent him to Dynamic Retriever (Tim's kennel) when he was 8 months and got him back just before he turned a year old. They did a fantastic job with him!
Hey buddy, love your content! One thing that I’d like to see more of though is the cooking of your catches. Try different recipes and even show your favorite recipes that should also make for awesome content
Thanks Lance! I'll try to do a catch & cook on one of the next couple hunts I go on! Unfortunately when I've tried to self-film cooking segments in the past it never really turns out good
Felicidades para mi es el mejor canal de caza autentica , preciosos escenarios con una variedad tremenda tanto en especies como en lances. Saludos desde España
Totally agree! I've just never seen it turn on quite like that before, in the past I've always experienced a slow trickle until the main flight begins around 9-9:30
Thanks Rick! I'm really stoked with how everything has gone with him this season, couldn't be prouder honestly! For this trip we rented out part of a pheasant hunting lodge. I've done trips where I just sleep in my car before and it works for a couple days but with this being a little longer trip we wanted to have a place to clean & eat our ducks
So awesome. Love these hunts. It’s good to see Leroy being so well trained, I can’t stand watching Kora from outdoor limits being so loud and breaking 24/7z whatever you’re doing he needs to take notes
Not much i has been pretty warm last night are low was 68 but yearly season we have a lot of wood ducks and green wing teal until we get a good cold front to push through
Sad that my days of being able to drag a half dz magnum Canada shells and attendant gear even a quarter mile into corn stubble are over. But it was sure fun while it lasted. Half a dz geese, 30 yds out and 10ft up with wings spread wide and landing gear down. Coming right at ya.
Ayooo 18 min work poop incoming
😂
That’s what I’m talkin about !
Yes lawd 🤣🤘
I only push when he calls Leeeeeeeeeeeroy!!!!!!!

Thanks Don, appreciate you watching! I would hate to even guess how many birds I would've lost this season with out him!
Seriously impressive how many videos you are making! Thank you
Thanks brother! Appreciate you watching!!
I liked how you were doing your introduction and then Nolan is like, "so anyways, I just started blasting". Haha

Leroy is a beast! Going into the second year with my dog! Ready to start in a few weeks!
Thanks Dave! How are things looking down in your area for this season? Hope it's a great one for you and your pup!!
@ Per usual we need a push of cold weather to get a lot of birds in bama but they'll get here eventually.
Leroy is an exceptional Dog ! Saw that long retrieve with Matt and Your friend Drew .
Thanks Bryan! I really appreciate it!
Dang, looks like a great hunt. Keep up the good work Thomas!

Awesome video man.
Thanks brother!
Love to see those green heads!!
Always gotta wait until 9-10 in South Dakota that’s usually when the mallard flight is the best for hunting sloughs
Totally agree! I've just never seen it turn on quite like that before, in the past I've always experienced a slow trickle until the main flight begins around 9-9:30

Love these small pot hole hunts. Leroy is doing great!! You should be proud of him!! Do yall sleep in your car on these expeditions to SD?

LEROYYYYYY JANKINSSSSS
Great Video Man. Leroy is a great dog. Is that Nolan Minor the fishing TH-camr?
Thanks Parker! That is the man himself! We started duck hunting together when we both lived in VA and try to get out on a least one trip every year
Leeeroyyyy
So awesome. Love these hunts. It’s good to see Leroy being so well trained, I can’t stand watching Kora from outdoor limits being so loud and breaking 24/7z whatever you’re doing he needs to take notes
Really enjoy your videos! Need some affiliate links for all your gear!
I appreciate you watching them! I'll try to put some together here soon!
Leerroyyyy! 😎 good hunt! What kind of calls are you running this season?
Thanks brother! I'm using a DRC Harlot on these duck hunts. Been using it for a couple seasons now and I absolutely love it!
@ definitely sounds great! Also, the fan base needs official Leroy shirts 😂😎
Great video
Do you have a specific breeder you use for your dogs? The drive they have is second to none!
Yall communicated very well
Much appreciated!
Nice hunt we got 23 more days for the ky opener
Thanks much! Seeing any birds showing up down there the last few days?
Not much i has been pretty warm last night are low was 68 but yearly season we have a lot of wood ducks and green wing teal until we get a good cold front to push through
might I ask which sled you are using? size and brand? I am looking to add one to my one man setup
Awesome
Nice green jewels you folks got there. He Thomas, did you get the ghillie suit?
Sad that my days of being able to drag a half dz magnum Canada shells and attendant gear even a quarter mile into corn stubble are over.

Man I'm sorry to hear that. I bet you made some memories to last a lifetime though!
What’s the weather like out that way? North Carolina native here, been so warm lately
👍👍
what are you using to move your decoys in that huddle
It's a motion ducks decoy spreader!
Thomas what choke do you like in your gun and what shot size are you shooting
I'm using a Carlsons light modified choke, typically shooting #2, 3, or 4 shot out of it!
you hunting virginia any this year missing them vids
Отличная охота.......
Are the calls you use in your videos the duck DRC calls
Also what barrel cam is that
Are you using a full choke?
I'm using a light modified
NEED MORE KAYAK JUMP VIDEOS PLS
Hopefully I'll be able to get one some soon! The rivers up here in Minnesota never seem to hold any ducks unfortunately
Did you train your train the dog
Yessir, with a lot of help from Tim Springer at Dynamic Retrivers
Thomas, I have a couple questions. Any way to DM you.
