I get good footage from the chest mount. The pros are that the video stays forward facing when you are looking left and right at junctions or up and down at the speedo. The cons are that you can't turn your head to catch something on video. My bike is a naked so it's an upright seated position. If you're on a bike with lower bars or clips ons then I wouldn't recommend a chest mount for 'on the road' footage. What are you riding?
Also, potential con - I haven't yet tried to attached the mic cable to the GoPro in the chest mount and take the lead up into the helmet and mic. The cable will need to be fixed in some way up hut the chest mount and into the helmet.
Well if you want people to watch, stop doing the hand to the lens, then a jump cut. Looks like you don't know what you are doing, wipes and fades or dissolved look more professional. The helmet mount works great for guys going really fast in a straight line. Ride Safe!
I don’t drive motorcycle and don’t know what’s comfortable or easier but in regular the chin mount is a more natural POV and looks better ^^

I have one of the old chest mounts, riding is fine, but I find it to be noisy through the frame when walking. Is the new one any quieter?

@@mipmoto5 I too ride naked bike, mt. I fitted handlebar riser, giving more upright position.
