I picked one of these up for $10 a few weeks ago and I love that it’s solid and cheap enough to beat up, plus it’s like having two completely different yo-yos in my pocket that I wouldn’t be too upset about losing or breaking.
hehe I use these to tinker with... I wanna send you this one, it's hilarious... I took off the caps and glued on the metal rings from a broken yoyojam trigger, lol, it's out of control. The others I have, I noticed you can insert the caps upside down. Noty only does this give you a concave finger area, but you can fill the little rim canal in the cap up with something heavy, like glue and metal powder from a toy chemistry set. One of those $15 digital scales goes a long way. If you want to try to be more precise than they read, remove or add weight medium until a digit marely flips over to the next. Repeat on other yoyo half and you're getting basically another (unseen) digit of accuracy
They are $9:98 now, but look cool. I saw three colors. Great review. I can't do any tricks. Amazing how advanced throwers are now. Thanks for all your videos.
I've been thinking about picking one of these up but have not wanted to spend the $7.. I'm cheap but thats a good point about getting a good deal on 2 bearings if nothing else
The pro Z is $10 at my Wal-Mart,was Wondering is it's worth it considering I got stuff like the Marco,ect.Looks fun enough so I think I'll pick one up for the fun factor.
Much better than the original Pro Z...and the fact that for $7, you're getting a Dif Konkave bearing with it...that's a steal. My bolt was also too long, thus having the cap pop off on me.
yea im noob at yoyo ....i had to get some string , the crap cotton string it came with was to short and it broke within a day ....so i got polyester it wasnt responding at first but then double wrapped it worked perfect ...thank you !
Starburst is actually good for looping. I think the bearing was dry, it probably just needed some grease or tighten up more. You have to set up your loopers to play the way you like them. Unlike 1a yoyos every looper is different and takes time to set up right. Even the string will have a huge effect on how a 2a plays but it's a cheap beginner yoyo so who knows.
funny you say get it for the bearing. i ran out of response pads. and i got a 7 dollar yoyo for 1 dollar response pads.. i dont like to silicon my yoyos. i really like pads. so i didnt want to wait for amazon...
I wonder if they started shipping these with slightly smaller axles? I just picked one up today at walmart and don't have the issues you have with the axle popping the caps off.
Same here, but my problem is the machining on the large aluminum spacers is to big to fit either of my bearings! So...I can't convert mine to the wider version, which was the only reason I bought it! Do you have this problem?

What I do is take 1 of the metal spacers and push it into the bearing as best I can, then I put the other metal spacer into the other half of the yo and start screwing the yo together. This presses the spacers into the bearing. I'm not sure if this makes sense. But yeah, I can get bearing to fit the metal spacers, it's just a SUPER tight fit.
@@twitchster77 same, except I got one spacer stuck on the bearing and had to throw it in the freezer to loosen it back up, eventually prying it with a flat head screwdriver broke it free, so I didn't even bother trying to screw it together! I'm gonna take a file around it to narrow the spacers post! I'll try tomorrow!
This was my first unresponsive yoyo. I'm thinking of adding some o rings under the caps to give it some more weight. It seems to die pretty quick. It's a lot of fun to take around as a beater though.
Starburst response aren't good for catching your string when you wanna tug it back to your hand, another thing why i don't like startburst response is that it will eat your string faster then 19mm silucone pads.

I put Duncan weight rings on my Pro-Z and I love it. I learned a good amount of tricks with this thing.

I have 3 yoyos. An Imperial, Pro Z, and a dollar store yoyo that I handed down to my brother.
The best part of that yoyo is that T SHIRT! You can go all out and throw duncan weight rings on it. I had one of these too.

I picked up one of these. Had such an extreme vibe, it was practically unusable. I have several other Duncans that I love, but this one sucked.
You might’ve sadly picked up a defective one or a dud. Mine works just fine

I found that sanding the star response down makes a decent yoyo
I take this yoyo to work every day with the spacers works great
Modded mine. Ground down the star, added silicone stickers. Shaved off inside notches, add a curved lip
