Me too, but i was excited for Go-Busters ever since their early appearance at the Gokaiger vs Space Sheriff Gavan movie. The only thing that bothered me is why the Go-Busters didn't help during the events of the Gokaiger being "defeated" by the Zangyack and Zangyack's invasion on earth by the end of the series.

As you so rightly said, this season uses a pirate motif, previous seasons have used Emergency Rescue (Kyuukyuu sentai GoGoV), Samurai (Samurai Sentai Shinkenger), Ninja (Ninja Sentai Kakurager and Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger), Angels (Tensou Sentai Goseiger), Magic (Mahou Sentai Magirenger), and many more.
God I wish there was a subbed version of this...I want to know the words to the part after the intro to the song! I think they sing it when Gai is offically a Gokaiger, but they don't sub that either.
@Telekinisis8467 did you know that each name in the sentai series both mean their motive because tensou is the literal translation of angel but gosei is another translation of it
I think its both really...they do show that heart can overcome stuff, and that also SH** happens. People die, innocents can get hurt, and heroes can actually get pissed off and swear O.O
also if you look at the seasons, while they always have something for kids, it seems they on occasion do a more adult one then a teenish one, then kids, then teenish, then adult most the time season wise.

American version is strictly for children, in japan they do a good job at broadening the horizons through a bit more grit and realism than america is willing to handle.
