“I wish I had selective amnesia to keep you away from me” is the highlight for me. I used to have this huge crush on a girl back in school for 4 years and became friends with her. We spoke quite a bit but while I really liked her I felt it wasn’t viceversa, I never asked her out due to being scared of rejection and that in school I was focusing on my studies so I wouldn’t have a chance of being in a relationship. After graduating from school I didn’t really want to make a move but rather confess that I really liked her to get it off my chest, by then she was seeing someone but said it was really brave of me to tell her. Its been a few years since I saw her I haven’t spoken to her since. It makes me sound like a shit person who is selfish and isn’t a true friend but I kinda wish I forgot her to avoid jealousy and anything else that brings back memories of me being nervous around her.

This is by far my favorite eden song. Its actually one of my favorite songs period. To me it is perfect just the way it is i like the sound of it i think a studio version or whatever probably just wouldnt be as good
