PNPA I TPR of CPNP PGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR (26TH PNP CHIEF)

November 11, 2021 - Philippine National Police Academy pays tribute to the 26th Chief of the Philippine National Police at PNPA, Silang Cavite.
PGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR was accorded with Arrival Honors and was warmly welcomed by the Cadets and the Command Group of PNPA headed by the Director, PMGEN ALEXANDER J SAMPAGA which was followed by Testimonial Parade and Review.
“From this ground shall emerge the future leaders of the Philippine National Police, but of the country.” PGEN GUILLERMO T ELEAZAR said, as he challenged the cadets to always do their best and pursue leadership excellence without sacrificing honor and integrity. He emphasized the role of cadets in performing their mandates as Iskolar Para Sa Bayan, to become worthy and inspiring leaders of tomorrow.
The Chief PNP mentioned the vital role of lady officers who further the organization in the field of excellence and quality service as he shared women empowerment, especially the percentage of female cadets in the cadet corps PNPA. The importance and role of the police in the formation of a whole community approach is highlighted as well, giving due importance for their efforts in addressing problems especially during this pandemic.
The PNPA also gives tribute to the wife of the Chief, PNP Mrs. Lally Hernandez-Eleazar as she celebrates her birthday today. During the Chief, PNP’s message he would like to remind the future leader of the PNP that “Ang ating mga asawa ang napaka importante at napakahalaga sa ating buhay”.
PGEN ELEAZAR is set to retire from the service on November 13. He is the sixth PNP chief appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte.
