Bengalese: How to identify male or female society finch

Male : Short voice (fawn)
Female : rrrr…… voice (choc pearl)

For me I went off color and instincts when I bought a pair. I got a dark one like on the on the top that was assertive and a light colored one like the one in this video, didn't move much and didn't make too much sounds. From what I've seen, the male constantly chirps nonstop, and microflaps his wings every time he moves

I noticed the same - the males I had had little peeping sounds while the females had more of a prrr-sound

Have 2 society finches. I noticed one goes into the nest box.
Do only females go inside ? They both chirp.
