THIS IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA
If this does happened mobile phone storage gonna increase by 10+GB and PC by 20+GB
with modern compression, 10GB is a bit of a streach. I honestly think games DONT compress spesifically to eat up storage space so that you cannot install their competitors. Call of duty rarely adds enough new content to warrent an extra 25gb for a new game, yet, they manage to pull it off. Sadily it seems to be an industry standard to not respect the players hardware. Notice that games got "bigger" after taken off the disk. Back when there was a disk, they were the ones paying for the storage, so compression and neat little tricks were used to prevent from needing 2 disks. Now that the players are paying for storage it's very easy for them to justify just shoving massive files in there and saying "man sucks to be our players."
When I first started helping with website design at the print shop I work at, since we host all of the websites, they quickly taught me proper compression, and other neat little tricks for 3D design where I can have something that looks super-high-res, and eats up the bare minimum space.
